Holly Sinclair acted as if she hadn't heard a thing.
Stella Grayson's expression stiffened slightly.
She was about to lash out, but a thought stopped her. 'Hadn't I treated her the same way before…?'
'Forget it,' she thought. 'I'll just consider this paying my dues.'
Stella Grayson quickly composed herself, her loving smile returning. She pleaded patiently, "When I was pregnant with Tristan, I was just like you. I had no appetite at all. So I completely understand how you feel right now. But you have to get enough nutrients for the baby's health, don't you think?"
Candice was sick, and as her grandmother, Stella was heartbroken when she found out.
To save her granddaughter, she was willing to do anything.
So even though she knew this visit would likely not go well, she had to come.
Holly Sinclair still gave no reaction.
Stella Grayson had never been subjected to this kind of cold shoulder in her entire life.
It was awful, but she could only endure it.
