Chapter 31 - Chapter 31: Lost in Each Other

The house was still quiet, the twins and Xavier safely at daycare, the soft hum of the air conditioning the only background noise. Yushen and I stayed on the balcony, coffee long forgotten, bodies pressed together, hearts racing from the earlier kisses.

He brushed his fingers along my jawline again, tracing lightly down my neck, making me shiver. I leaned into him, closing my eyes, savoring the warmth of his body. Every touch was careful but full of desire, every brush of skin against skin sending electricity through me.

"I could stay like this forever," he murmured, voice low, husky with emotion.

"Me too," I whispered, fingers threading through his hair. "Just us… nothing else matters right now."

He pulled me onto his lap, our bodies molded together perfectly, and I wrapped my arms around his neck. The kiss that followed was slow, deep, and full of everything we'd held back for years. It wasn't just passion—it was relief, love, longing, and the quiet joy of being finally together again.

His hands moved along my back, firm and gentle at once, pulling me impossibly closer. I pressed my body into his, feeling his heartbeat against mine, the steady warmth of him grounding me.

"Anna…" he whispered, his lips brushing my ear. "I can't believe you're here… with me… finally."

"I've always been here," I murmured, biting my lip softly, letting him feel the heat of my desire without saying it aloud.

We kissed again, slower this time, teasingly, letting the tension build between us. Our hands explored in careful, lingering movements—his fingers tracing the curve of my back, mine sliding along his shoulders, chest, and arms. Every touch was electric, every glance, every soft sigh, a promise of the love and desire we'd waited for.

I leaned into him, letting my lips wander from his mouth to his neck, feeling him shiver against me. His hands held me tight, gently pulling me closer, teasing and exploring with patience and care. We moved in tandem, lost in each other, savoring the intimacy that had been denied to us for so long.

"Yushen…" I breathed, hands clutching his shirt. "I want this… I want you… now… slowly."

He chuckled softly, deep and throaty, lips brushing against my temple.

"Slow… yes. But full of every second I've waited to feel this. Every touch, every kiss… all of it is yours."

I let myself melt into him, pressing against him, our bodies perfectly in sync. Our kisses deepened, slow and heated, full of longing, teasing, and soft laughter as we playfully explored each other's warmth. The world outside the balcony ceased to exist—there was only him, only us, lost in the closeness we'd craved for years.

Every brush of his hands, every sigh, every whispered word built the tension between us. We stayed that way for what felt like hours—tangled, breathless, laughing softly, and savoring the slow-burning intimacy.

I rested my head against his shoulder, letting the quiet moments speak volumes. His hands never left me, tracing circles on my back, occasionally tilting my chin up to kiss me softly.

"I've never stopped wanting you," he whispered against my lips, holding me close.

"Nor have I," I whispered back, voice trembling with emotion and desire. "I've waited… for this… for us."

And in that quiet, sunlit balcony, we stayed lost in each other, every brush of skin, every shared breath, every slow, lingering kiss a testament to our love, patience, and desire.

Hours passed like minutes. By the time we finally pulled slightly apart, foreheads touching, breathing heavy but smiles wide, the connection between us had deepened in ways neither of us had thought possible.

"Perfect," he murmured softly.

"Exactly… perfect," I agreed, my heart full, body still tingling from the closeness.

It was more than just intimacy. It was home, love, longing fulfilled, a moment of passion and tenderness we had both waited for our whole lives. And as we held each other, the thought of the twins returning later brought a mischievous smile to my lips.

"Soon, they'll be back," I whispered, teasingly.

"Then we'll just have to savor every moment we have until then," he replied, smirking.

We laughed softly, pressing one last lingering kiss before standing, brushing ourselves off—but the warmth, the connection, and the memory of our stolen time together stayed, imprinted in every touch, every heartbeat, and every whispered word.
