"Dad, you look exhausted," Light said, his voice a perfect blend of concern and filial duty.

Instead of acting suspicious, Light took out his notebook—his school notebook—and began to study. He made sure to look like the model student the world expected him to be. But in his mind, he was already calculating the time it would take to find the agent's name.
