However, there was one thing he didn't understand, so he asked, "Wait, where did this hoarding come from? I don't think I hoard anything. If it's talking about knowledge, it's not like I keep it all to myself—I share it pretty easily. So, what is it referring to?"
"You're saying you don't hoard?" Momo raised an eyebrow, "What about the large number of women you had in your harem back in your original plane, huh? If I remember correctly, you had about seventy women, and that's not even counting the ones you had casual sex with. What is this if not hoarding?"
Cough! Shin had enough shame in him to appear sheepish as he instantly changed the topic. "Anyway, are there any other things you gained from this process?"
Momo clearly understood his tactics but went along with it, "There are some other things, like me having the full system, exactly the same as yours, with only one slight difference—there is no peerage option for me. Also, I have the ability to share my status screen with any of the peerage members simply by willing it, and I am sure you can now do the same."
She thought for a moment before continuing. "Finally, all the peerage members can communicate with each other telepathically with no limits if we are within a one-kilometer range. If not, we can only do so once a week."
"Hmm… that's quite good," Shin nodded. "Both the telepathy and the status-sharing ability. I had already guessed that you would get a copy of the system, so it didn't surprise me much." Then he asked, "So, could you show me your status screen?"
Momo smirked. "Oh? Eager to check me out already?" She leaned in slightly, her voice turning teasing. "You'll have plenty of time for that later."
Without waiting for his response, she shifted her position to sit directly facing him, her legs wrapping around his waist. A sultry look flickered in her eyes as she lifted her waist and positioned herself perfectly.
"Of course, but not now," she said with an erotic tone. "We have all the time in the world, but for now, let's pick up where we left off before sleeping."
"Wait! I'm exhausted. My stamina hasn't recovered because of my current condition," Shin blurted out immediately. "I don't think I'd be able to satisfy you right now."
Momo pouted, then smirked. "If you were really that tired, why were you touching my butt so much? And your eyes—don't think I didn't notice them roaming all over my breasts. Do you have any idea how much that aroused me?" Her voice was thick with desire as she slowly lowered her waist, their bodies joining in undeniable intimacy. A shiver ran through her as she leaned in closer, "It's obvious you're curious about the new me, and I promise you, you're going to love it."
She leaned in, whispering against his lips, "And don't worry—you don't have to do a thing. Just relax and enjoy every sensation."
Shin subsequently felt Momo's lips press against his, and he simply surrendered to her initiative, relishing the changes in her appearance on a much deeper, more intimate level.
...
While some enjoyed their lives, others were busy with important matters. This included the Hero Association, which had recently received a lead. However, to actually act on it, they had to take things slowly, or they would lose the only lead they had. Because of this, it took about a month before they could turn it into something useful.
They discovered a building where a large number of Nomus were being produced. Wanting to stop this operation completely, they prepared for a raid. However, their mission was blocked by a large number of villains guarding the area. At the same time, they also found another location that was suspected to be the League of Villains' headquarters. This made them call for all available heroes to join in a massive raid.
Several top heroes gathered to plan their attack. Even All Might was called in, as he had a feeling something was wrong and wanted to be there to protect his fellow heroes if his suspicions turned out to be true.
After planning, they split into two teams—one to take down the Nomu factory and the other to raid the headquarters. All Might decided to go with the second team. His choice proved right when, as soon as they entered the building, a huge explosion shook the area, completely destroying the structure and everything nearby. Many heroes were badly injured, and one even lost their life.
All Might, shocked by the sudden destruction, quickly rushed to save the trapped heroes buried under the rubble. He barely managed to pull most of them out when he heard a familiar laugh echoing through the smoke. The moment he recognized the voice, his anger flared.
"All Might, how long has it been since I last saw you?" From within the smoke, All For One stepped forward. "It's been years, yet you're still the same fool."
"Why are you here?" All Might demanded, his frustration growing.
"Calm down, All Might," All For One chuckled behind his mask. "Though I doubt you can after the little surprise I prepared for you." He stared at his old enemy for a moment before adding, "So, did you enjoy my gift?"
All Might clenched his fists. "This was a trap…!?" But before he could react, the sounds of battle caught his attention. Dozens of villains were attacking the injured heroes before they even had time to recover from the explosion.
All For One smirked. "Where are you looking? Your focus should be on me. Let the others deal with their own fights. We have our own unfinished business, don't we?"
All Might couldn't hold back anymore. He charged forward, throwing a full-powered Detroit Smash at All For One, who countered with equal force. Their punches clashed, creating massive shockwaves. All For One followed up with lightning-infused strikes, hitting All Might's ribs with painful force. Then, he used a lightning-powered kick to strike All Might's knee, making him lose balance. Seizing the opportunity, he unleashed an Air Cannon blast straight into All Might's stomach, sending him flying.
Thrown back by the force, All Might countered by kicking mid-air with immense power, halting All For One's advance and sending him flying. However, All For One quickly warped to All Might's position—something All Might had anticipated. The moment he reappeared, All Might met his punch head-on and delivered a devastating Detroit Smash straight to his face.
Despite the heavy damage that he had caused, All For One found himself at a disadvantage. Seizing the moment, All Might unleashed a powerful Texas Smash, sending his opponent reeling. But All For One, unfazed, warped back and continued his relentless assault.
During a brief moment of respite, All Might prepared his next strike—a Shoot Style Smash inspired by his student Midoriya's technique. His kick landed squarely in All For One's gut, forcing blood from his mouth.
However, All Might didn't escape unscathed. All For One seized the chance to unleash a torrent of flames at close range, scorching All Might's body. Though burned, All Might had no time to dwell on the pain as All For One lunged forward with another attack.
Dodging and leaping back, All Might searched for an opening—one decisive move to end the battle. But All For One gave him no such luxury, warping in front of him once again. This time, he unleashed consecutive air cannon blasts from both hands, forcing All Might to shield his face with crossed arms. The impact rattled him, and before he could recover, All For One targeted a deep wound he had inflicted earlier during the fight, unleashing his inferno directly onto the weakened area.
The pain was excruciating, but All Might endured. He knew he couldn't afford to fall here—not when the world depended on him. With renewed determination, he charged forward, ready to unleash one of his strongest attacks. After a relentless flurry of punches and kicks, he closed in on All For One and executed his ultimate move—United States of Smash. His overhead punch crashed into the villain with earth-shattering force, sending him plummeting into the ground.
But All Might didn't stop. Knowing how resilient his enemy was, he continued pummelling him, refusing to give All For One even a second to recover. His instincts were proven right as All For One warped away, barely able to stand. He was panting heavily, his body drenched in blood, but still, he refused to fall.
All Might, too, felt his strength declining. The vestiges that were left from his quirk, even after he had given it to Midoriya, were slowly fading. He grasped that he had at most five minutes left—maybe even less if he used his power carelessly. There was a grim realization in his mind: this might be the last fight he would ever fight. But he wouldn't stop now. Not when the battle had to end here.
Steeling himself, All Might dashed forward with everything he had left. At the same time, All For One did the same, both warriors prepared to end this fight with a single, final blow.
All For One had been saving a particular quirk—one he had duplicated because he couldn't have the real one. Though it lacked the original's full capabilities, it retained one critical function: the ability to absorb all the kinetic force he had endured throughout the battle which he could unleash in a single, devastating strike. Unlike a certain someone however, he couldn't directly absorb the force of the attacks, so he had taken every hit directly, enduring pain after pain just to store up enough power. Now, it was time to release it all.
All Might considered using his strongest move—one he had developed from watching and battling Shin. He had taken much advice from Shin, who had mastered the art of utilizing every muscle in his body for maximum impact in all his attacks. While All Might couldn't fully replicate Shin's technique, he could emulate that state for a single, decisive strike.
Planting his foot firmly on the ground, he assumed his stance. He twisted—first his legs, then his lower body, then his upper body—before launching his fist forward, twisting it in sync with the motion. His muscles strained under the immense force he had generated, but he directed all that momentum into his punch, aiming straight for the incoming attack from All For One. With a thunderous roar, he unleashed it: "UNITED FORCE SMASH!"
The attacks collided, and for a moment, an eerie silence blanketed the battlefield. It was the calm before the storm. The delayed release of energy erupted with such force that shockwaves tore through the area, hurling heroes and villains alike into the air. Some were lost in the chaos. The city itself bore the brunt of the devastation—buildings crumbled, storms raged, and even the clouds in the sky split apart.
The impact triggered earthquakes that rippled through nearby cities. At the heart of the battlefield, a massive crater formed, resembling the aftermath of a meteor strike. Fortunately, the civilians had been evacuated before the battle began. Yet, the sheer scale of destruction left heroes and villains alike paralyzed with fear.
As the dust settled, the villains—vastly outnumbering the remaining heroes—began to retreat. The heroes, rather than pursuing, rushed toward the center of the impact zone to find All Might. A news helicopter, previously forced back by the shockwaves, cautiously approached the scene. There, at the center of the crater, stood All Might—bloodied, weakened, and unconscious.
The sight sent shockwaves of a different kind through those who beheld it. For the first time, the world saw All Might's true, frail form. A voice broke the silence.
"Finally... the era of the Symbol of Peace has come to an end." It was All For One. Kneeling, struggling to rise, but still defiant.
"What do you mean by that?" one of the heroes demanded after hearing this.
All For One smirked, his gaze shifting to All Might's battered body. "I mean, All Might will never fight again." A stunned silence followed.
"What?" The disbelief was palpable. Some heroes hesitated, absorbing the gravity of his words, while others rushed to detain him.
But All For One retaliated. He unleashed an inferno of destruction, forcing the remaining heroes to fight from a distance. Only Endeavor dared to approach, undeterred by the flames. The battle raged on, a testament to All For One's resilience and unyielding stamina. But eventually, through sheer perseverance and coordination, the heroes managed to subdue him. With the fight finally over, Endeavor turned to the fallen All Might. Without hesitation, he lifted him and took off, flying straight to the nearest hospital.
As the remaining heroes regrouped, nursing the wounded and assessing the damage, a grim realization set in. The battle had been broadcast nationwide. Millions had watched their Symbol of Peace fall. And for the first time in decades, the people of Japan felt the cold grip of fear—the fear of a world without All Might.
…
For the next two weeks, U.A. declared a holiday as panic spread among the public. Parents refused to send their wards to academy, fearing they might be targeted by All Might's enemies. With All Might's weakened state exposed and All For One's declaration that he might never fight again, many felt he could no longer protect them.
Shin, after fully recovering from his condition—which took about a month after he woke up—was busier than ever. It really felt like the world didn't want him to rest. The moment he completely recovered; this crisis unfolded. And since he was an opportunist, he couldn't just ignore this chance. Though he felt bad for All Might, what had happened already happened. The only thing he could do to respect All Might's efforts was to do his best to secure the situation in the best way possible.
He knew things would eventually calm down, so he started working on his plan to change hero society at its core, just as he had envisioned. He called meetings with various organizations, including the Hero Association and the government, to discuss reforms in response to public anxiety and the different ideologies spreading among people.
His first proposal was to increase the hero workforce by enlisting individuals over 18 with powerful and useful Quirks into a training program lasting six months to a year. While there was some debate, the idea was quickly accepted, though the intense conditioning was adjusted to a milder approach.
These recruits wouldn't be called Heroes but something more professional, considering Stain's ideology had influenced public perception. They were given the title Quirk Task Force (QTF). Unlike Pro Heroes, they wouldn't work as individuals but in structured groups—teams, brigades, and legions—similar to older military systems. The exact hierarchy was left to be decided later.
This plan achieved two things: It ensured enough trained forces to handle the rise in villain activity after the fall of the Symbol of Peace and it prevented strong Quirk users from being influenced and recruited by the League of Villains.
The plan was announced the next day, slightly easing public panic. Knowing that a larger and more organized force would soon exist reassured many. A council was formed to select candidates, not just based on Quirk strength but also versatility, potential, and other qualities. Retired heroes were recruited as trainers, and construction of training facilities was set in motion.
The planning and selection process took over six days, with Shin being heavily involved in every decision. The council made sure that each candidate's record was checked three times by different individuals to prevent mistakes and biases.
The QTF program was set to begin the following week, just as U.A. was reopening after the two-week break. Until the council building was completed, Shin's bungalow—where he lived with his maids and butlers—became the temporary hub for both online and in-person meetings.
Amidst all this, he received an email from U.A. regarding their transition to a boarding system, aimed at ensuring student safety and preventing them from becoming targets. It also mentioned that some teachers would be visiting students' homes to convince their parents about the change. Though he saw the email, he assumed it didn't apply to him since he had no parents, so he ignored it and soon forgot about it due to his busy schedule.
In fact, he was so busy that he hadn't even been able to meet up with Momo, his girlfriend, who had recently become his companion. However, she understood his situation and left him to his own devices—though mostly because she had no interest in politics and didn't want to get involved in it at all.
She was more focused on her own growth, especially now that she had awakened her TrueSoul, which allowed her to use her Quirk in ways she had never imagined before. Along with the suggestions Shin had given her during his time in the hospital, she had begun to see countless new possibilities. She wanted to experiment with them on her own, without his direct help, knowing that she would have to rely on herself once they left this plane and entered another.
So, after Shin had fully recovered, she returned to her own house to train and improve herself. Still, despite his packed schedule, he made sure to use the telepathic feature that let them communicate every time the cooldown reset. In this way, he was able to keep up with her growth while maintaining their relationship.
During one of their talks, she mentioned she was working on something—something he had once asked of her. She said it was almost finished and planned to give it to him after U.A. resumed classes. At first, Shin had no idea what she was talking about, but after thinking for a moment, he suddenly remembered a conversation they had in the past, making him erupt in surprise. He wasn't completely sure, but he had a strong idea of what it could be.
When he pressed Momo for details, she refused, insisting on keeping it a mystery. With no other choice, he decided to wait for the reveal, anticipation quietly building within him.
