Chapter 22 - Chapter -22

The Guardian of Lumina

The explorers stood silently in the glowing streets of the Hidden City of Lumina. The soft golden lights reflected on the smooth stone buildings, and gentle streams of water flowed along the pathways. The air felt warm and peaceful, yet filled with mystery.

Suddenly, the glowing figure in the center of the city became brighter. It slowly moved closer, floating just above the ground. The explorers watched with wide eyes, unsure whether to feel afraid or amazed.

The prince stepped slightly behind the king, holding the Crystal of Balance tightly in his hand. The crystal began to shine softly, as if recognizing the presence of the glowing figure.

The figure finally stopped a few steps away from them. It looked like a tall human made of light, wearing a robe that shimmered like stars in the night sky. Its voice sounded calm and wise.

"Do not be afraid," the figure said gently.

"I am the Guardian of Lumina."

The king took a deep breath and stepped forward with respect.

"We come in peace," he replied.

"We discovered your city while trying to protect the balance of nature in our kingdoms."

The glowing guardian nodded slowly.

"I know," it said.

"The Crystal of Balance has guided you here. Only those who respect nature and work together can find this city."

The explorers felt relieved to hear these words. The prince looked around again, still amazed by the beauty of the hidden city.

"Where are the people of Lumina?" the prince asked curiously.

The guardian raised one glowing hand and pointed toward the tall towers surrounding them.

"Long ago," the guardian began,

"the people of Lumina learned how to use the energy of the earth to bring light, water, and warmth to their city. They lived in harmony with nature for many generations."

The guardian's voice became softer.

"But some people from distant lands tried to steal this knowledge and use it for selfish purposes. To protect the world, the people of Lumina decided to hide their city deep inside the mountains. They left behind guardians like me to watch over the energy and keep it safe."

The king listened carefully, understanding the importance of this secret.

"We do not wish to take your knowledge," he said respectfully.

"We only want to protect our lands and keep nature balanced."

The guardian studied the king and the prince for a moment. Then its glowing face seemed to brighten with approval.

"Your actions have already proven your honesty," the guardian replied.

"You stopped the destruction of forests, controlled floods, and protected the mountains. That is why the crystal brought you here."

The prince felt proud but also curious.

"Can you teach us how to use this energy safely?" he asked.

The guardian smiled gently.

"Yes," it answered.

"But first, you must understand the responsibility that comes with such power."

With a wave of its hand, the guardian caused the ground beneath them to glow. A large circle of light appeared on the stone floor, showing moving images like a living map.

The explorers watched as scenes from the past appeared inside the glowing circle.

They saw the ancient people of Lumina building their city, using natural energy to light their homes and grow healthy crops. The city looked peaceful and beautiful.

Then the images changed.

Dark clouds covered the sky, and groups of strangers tried to force their way into the city. They wanted to control the powerful energy for their own benefit. The people of Lumina became worried and decided to hide their city to prevent disaster.

The glowing images slowly faded away.

The guardian turned back to the king and the prince.

"Power without wisdom can bring danger," it said.

"That is why we protect this knowledge carefully."

The king nodded seriously.

"We understand," he replied.

"We promise to use any knowledge only for the good of our people and the protection of nature."

The guardian stepped closer and gently touched the Crystal of Balance. The crystal suddenly shone brighter than ever before, filling the entire city with brilliant blue light.

The explorers shielded their eyes from the brightness.

When the light faded, they noticed that the crystal now had new glowing symbols on its surface. These symbols looked similar to the ones carved on the buildings of Lumina.

"These symbols will guide you," the guardian explained.

"They will help you understand the balance of energy in your lands."

The prince held the crystal carefully, feeling its warmth in his hands. He realized that this was not just a gift—it was a responsibility.

The guardian then led the explorers through the city, showing them its wonders.

They saw gardens growing underground with the help of natural light. They saw clean water flowing through shining channels. They saw machines powered by gentle earth energy, working quietly without harming the environment.

The explorers were amazed by how advanced the city was, yet how peaceful and natural everything felt.

After many hours of learning, the guardian stopped near the city gate.

"It is time for you to return to your kingdoms," the guardian said kindly.

"Remember what you have seen here and share this knowledge wisely."

The king bowed respectfully.

"Thank you for trusting us," he said.

The prince looked back at the glowing city, feeling inspired and determined to protect the world.

As the explorers walked out of the hidden city, the massive stone door slowly closed behind them. The mountain became quiet once again, hiding the secret city from the outside world.

That evening, as they camped under the stars, the Crystal of Balance glowed softly in the prince's hand.

The king looked up at the night sky and smiled.

"A new future is beginning," he said.
