The Rise of the Hidden City
After the mysterious energy beneath the earth was stabilized, life across the Four Kingdoms slowly returned to normal. Farmers planted seeds in fertile soil, traders carried goods along busy roads, and children played happily in the village fields. The people felt safe once again, trusting their wise king and the Council of Four Kingdoms.
However, the king remained thoughtful. He knew that the glowing crack deep inside the cave was not an ordinary discovery. It was a sign that the world still held many secrets waiting to be understood.
One bright morning, the prince visited the royal library. He loved reading old books about history and ancient civilizations. While searching through dusty shelves, he noticed a very old scroll hidden behind a stack of thick books. The scroll was wrapped in faded cloth and tied with a golden string.
Curious, the prince carefully opened it.
Inside, he found a detailed map drawn with dark ink. The map showed mountains, rivers, and forests—but one place caught his attention. In the center of the mountains, there was a drawing of a hidden city surrounded by glowing symbols. At the bottom of the map, a message was written in ancient language.
The prince hurried to show the map to the king.
"Father, look what I found!" he said excitedly.
The king studied the map carefully. His eyes widened as he recognized the symbols. They were similar to the markings they had seen inside the underground cave.
Just then, the royal historian entered the room. He adjusted his glasses and examined the map closely.
"Your Majesty," the historian said slowly,
"this map speaks of a legendary place called the Hidden City of Lumina."
The prince leaned forward with curiosity.
"What is Lumina?" he asked.
The historian smiled gently.
"Long ago," he began,
"there was a great civilization that understood the secrets of nature. They built a city deep inside the mountains, powered by natural energy from the earth. The people of Lumina protected the balance of nature for many generations."
The king listened carefully.
"What happened to them?" he asked.
The historian sighed.
"One day, the city disappeared from history. Some believe it was hidden to protect its knowledge from those who might misuse it."
The room fell silent. The king realized that the glowing energy they had discovered might be connected to this lost city.
That afternoon, the king called another meeting of the Council of Four Kingdoms. He placed the ancient map on the table so everyone could see it.
The chief of the Mountain Kingdom studied the drawing and nodded.
"These mountains match the region where we found the glowing crack," he said.
The queen of the River Kingdom added,
"If this city truly exists, its knowledge could help us protect nature even better."
After careful discussion, the council agreed to send an expedition to search for the Hidden City of Lumina.
The king selected a brave team of explorers, scientists, and engineers. The prince was chosen to lead the young members of the group, guided by experienced soldiers and wise advisers.
The two queens prepared supplies for the journey—food, medicine, warm clothing, and tools. They also gave the prince a small pendant for protection.
Early the next morning, the expedition began.
They traveled through green valleys and rocky hills, following the path marked on the ancient map. Birds flew above them, and cool winds carried the scent of pine trees. The journey was long and challenging, but the team remained determined.
After several days of travel, they reached a tall mountain range covered with snow. The map indicated that the entrance to the hidden city was somewhere nearby.
As the sun began to set, the prince noticed something unusual on the side of a cliff. A faint blue light was shining from behind a wall of stones.
"Look there!" he called.
The team hurried toward the cliff and carefully moved the stones aside. Behind them, they discovered a narrow passage leading deep into the mountain.
The king held up the Crystal of Balance. Its light glowed brightly, guiding their path.
They walked through the passage for several minutes until they reached a massive stone door covered with glowing symbols. The symbols matched the ones on the ancient map.
The prince felt a mix of excitement and nervousness.
"This must be the entrance," he whispered.
The king placed his hand on the door. For a moment, nothing happened.
Then suddenly, the Crystal of Balance began to shine intensely. The symbols on the door lit up one by one, and the heavy stone door slowly opened with a deep rumbling sound.
A warm golden light spilled out from inside.
The explorers stepped forward and gasped in amazement.
Before them stood a magnificent underground city filled with tall towers, glowing streets, and flowing water channels. The buildings were made of shining stone, and soft lights illuminated every corner of the city.
The prince looked around in wonder.
"This is incredible," he said.
The king nodded, feeling both excitement and responsibility.
"We have found the Hidden City of Lumina," he said quietly.
As they walked through the silent streets, they noticed that the city seemed empty—but perfectly preserved, as if its people had left only yesterday.
Suddenly, a gentle voice echoed through the air.
"Welcome, guardians of balance."
The explorers stopped and looked around in surprise.
From the center of the city, a glowing figure slowly appeared, surrounded by soft light.
The prince held his breath, realizing that they were about to discover the greatest secret in the history of their world.
And with that mysterious greeting, a new chapter of adventure began. ✨
