I did not need to think twice. I made my way to the border. Having been there more than once I had been able to find my way so much easier than before. Nova pushed forward, taking over to make the distance feel all the more shorter.
It was only as I ran that my mind drifted to Kael. He did not know where I was. 'Nor did he answer our mindlink.' My wolf rightly pointed out to me. Which had been the reason I had felt so irritated with him to begin with. But, irritated or not, I had a sinking feeling I should have let him know where I was going, because nobody would know where I was. But, instead, I pushed my doubts aside, and continued to run.
