I was awoken early the next morning by a sharp shove to my ribs. My alarm to awaken me had yet to sound, so I knew that it was early. With weary eyes I stirred, only to receive another sharp shove, making me moan in discomfort. While an exasperated sigh sounded from beside the bed. I moved quickly, wanting to know who was here. Nobody came to my room...
"Will you wake the fuck up?!" An irritated voice snapped. A voice I would recognise anywhere.
Grace?! What in Goddess's name was she doing awake at this time of day? Why was she even trying to wake me? It was normally me having to wake her in time for breakfast. Or wait around for her, and then cook her some breakfast because she had slept well past the hour breakfast was prepared by any of our kitchen staff within the packhouse. Grace being awake before the sun was even up was simply not normal.
