Chapter 35 - 33

I think I'm falling for Harry. At first, I just wanted to get closer to him and be his friend, but as the days have passed and our interactions have increased, I've become more and more attracted to him.

At first, I thought I just wanted to be another friend, but every time we're together, whether I'm teaching him spells or we're exercising together, I feel like my eyes are constantly searching for him and my heart races when our hands involuntarily touch. I also think about him when he's not around.

But I'm afraid of losing his friendship because of my feelings. This is the first time I've felt this way about someone, so I'm not sure what to do, and I don't want to get my hopes up in case he only sees me as a friend. I guess the only thing I can do is support him in any way I can, especially now that the tournament is getting closer.

During one of our training sessions, the topic of Sirius came up, and I told Harry that if they could reveal the memories they have of that night and prove that Peter Pettigrew is alive, and if Sirius were to agree to use Veritaserum during a trial, it could prove his innocence. I also mentioned that I had done some research and learned that Sirius was sent to Azkaban without a trial, where he remained for many years, but I wasn't sure since there wasn't much information about it. Harry said he would ask Sirius what he thought and if it was possible to get him a trial.

I also suggested that we could talk to Amelia Bones, since she was the head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, and that if Sirius was willing, we could try asking his niece to help us send her a letter requesting a meeting.

In mid-October, I managed to find the diadem and take it back to the goblins so they could destroy the Horcrux. I also made a short trip to Little Hangleton to find Tom Riddle's grave and replace his bones with someone else's so that when Peter Pettigrew performs the ritual to restore Voldemort's body and power, it won't work properly. The hope is that this will weaken Voldemort and reduce Harry's danger. Besides, I had to come here so that when the time comes, I can carry out my plans to further thwart Voldemort's schemes.

Another thing that happened was that Hermione and Ron finally had a fight. I'm not sure what happened, but apparently Ron said something that really upset her, and she was very close to casting spells. If it hadn't been for the twins nearby, Ron would have ended up in the hospital wing. I tried to ask Hermione what happened, but all she said was that Ron was an idiot and that she didn't want to talk about it.

Knowing how upset she was, I took her to the Room of Requirement, to a special room where she could smash whatever she wanted until she felt better. She seemed to have a lot going on, as she spent almost two hours in that room smashing things, but I'm not sure if she came out because she was feeling better or because she ran out of mana to keep casting spells.

I also had to get Professor Flitwich to reprimand everyone in Ravenclaw House, as they were still bullying Luna. She hadn't told me anything, but one day I found her without shoes, and she said the Nargles had taken them. Since Luna didn't want to talk about it, I could only lend her a pair of mine and speak to Professor Flitwich so he would pay closer attention to what was happening.

When I told the professor, he seemed very surprised, as he hadn't apparently realized Luna was being bullied by her housemates. He promised me he would look into it and that something like that wouldn't happen again.

It also seems the other professors found out about my conversation with Professor McGonagall, as there haven't been any complaints about them. And it's not just in the classes I attend; I have invisible clones following them around to see how they behave with all the groups. I did this mainly because of Snape, since he was the professor with the most complaints from the students, and it's not just the Gryffindors.

Speaking of Professor Snape, I used one of my invisible clones to get hold of the Half-Blood Prince book, and they actually had very good grades for Potions.

Something else happened that I couldn't believe... For some reason, Hermione took Harry to the hospital wing, and they discovered that Harry had been given Loyalty Potions. Harry spent the whole day in the wing and was only able to leave when Madam Pomfrey allowed it. I don't know what led Hermione to take Harry there, but now they're both at odds with Ron.

One day I found Harry with red eyes as if he had been crying, and it broke my heart. So without saying anything, I took his hand and led him to the Astronomy Tower where I summoned Artemis. It took almost all my mana, but I managed to make Artemis grow large enough to carry us both. I didn't have to say anything, as Artemis senses my feelings, so she let Harry ride her and gave us a ride around the Hogwarts grounds for an hour.

At first, Harry was quiet, but after about 30 minutes, he began to tell me how he had met Ron, how he had come to consider him more than a friend, almost a brother, and how now, reflecting on how things had happened, he had found several strange things about Ron's behavior, especially the first time they met. He said that although they were small details, when he noticed them, it seemed from the beginning that Ron had approached him deliberately.

He said that after the fight with Ron, he thought about many things and realized that from the start, it seemed more as if Ron had approached him because of his fame and not because he genuinely wanted to be his friend. He said that of the Weasley family, only the twins had treated him like a true friend. I didn't know what to say to him; I could only listen and give him a hug while telling him that he could always trust me.

After flying on Artemis, he seemed to feel better and thanked me for the ride. After that, they seemed to argue every time they ran into Ron. Harry was the one who was suffering the most, since he shared a room with Ron. Harry also seemed to doubt everything he ate or drank, as if he thought they were going to give him another potion. I didn't like seeing him like that, so when I made a detector bracelet for myself, I made one for him too.

I think they hadn't just given him a loyalty potion, but I didn't dare ask them what exactly they had given him, since Harry seemed very angry whenever anything about it was mentioned.

I think the only times he was relaxed were during our outings to Hogsmeade; only then did I see him smile more often. Also, when he talked to Sirius, he started laughing and joking again. As for Sirius's trial, they both agreed to see if, after telling Amelia Bones what had happened, she would agree to help conduct the trial.

The idea of Sirius being a free man cheered Harry up a lot, and I told him that if Sirius could prove his innocence, Harry could live with him and wouldn't have to go back to his aunt and uncle's house anymore, or that he would need to be emancipated to take control of his inheritance and live in his family home.

I wanted Harry to know this because I didn't like the idea of him living with his abusive aunt and uncle. That way, he might be able to ask for emancipation when he's chosen as the champion for the Triwizard Tournament. Although, for that, it would be better to go to the goblins and get him a lawyer, since from what I've researched, goblin lawyers are the best, provided you're willing to pay their fees. I doubt Harry would have any problem with that, though, after what he got for selling the basilisk's body.

That time we went down, I was surprised to see the basilisk in such good condition. It almost looked as if it were just asleep, since its body was completely intact. I also took the opportunity to smear some poison on my dagger with Harry's permission, since technically the poison was his.

When the goblins saw it, they were very excited by its size and said something about a grand feast, since apparently basilisk meat is a great delicacy for them.
