After lunch, we were in the living room chatting about some of the spells and charms they'd learned, and Harry offered to teach me the Patronus Charm. The topic of how quickly I'd managed to learn three years' worth of material in less than two months came up, and since I'd already shown Harry my clones, I thought I could tell Hermione about them too and see if I could teach them both how to do it. I just made them promise not to mention it to anyone, as it was special magic from my family.
While I was explaining, I noticed there were several terms I used that they didn't understand, like mana, mana core, or mana manipulation.
Since they didn't fully understand me, I had to explain those terms in a way they could grasp, and we realized that the way they had learned was very different from how I had been taught. Although my method sounded more complicated, it was actually easier compared to how they teach now. During the conversation, I came to the conclusion that the way they were taught was the reason why wandless or wordless magic was so difficult for wizards to master these days, and that this was probably the reason why wizards' power had declined even though their tools are much more suitable for them compared to before, when we had to use whatever we had on hand at the time, even if they weren't the most appropriate for us.
After starting to teach them how to sense mana in their bodies and locate their core, as well as how to sense mana in the air and guide it into their bodies to replenish the mana they had spent, I used the information on the abilities I had obtained from the system to make it easier for them. After a couple of hours and many attempts, they managed to do it successfully.
I also took that opportunity to talk to them about Occlumency and give them the books I had bought for both of them.
When I tried to teach them how to make shadow clones, I noticed they had a little more difficulty. They practically had to imagine a kind of container where they had to deposit a small portion of their mana and concentrate on a clear image of themselves, which would be the form the clone would take. Although it didn't sound so difficult in theory, when it came to putting it into practice, they couldn't complete the final step.
Hermione was the first to get exhausted and go to sleep, and since Harry still wanted to try, we both stayed together in the living room practicing.
It seemed Harry wasn't quite understanding how to guide his mana to create the clone, so we both sat facing each other. I took his hands to try and help guide the mana, and to do so, I first had to show him how I guided my own mana. Once I was sure he could feel it, I created a clone of myself. When Harry said he was ready to try again, I continued helping him guide his mana as he cast the spell, and Harry managed to create a clone. But a problem arose in the process because Harry hadn't focused properly on what his clone should look like. What I saw once the smoke cleared made me blush so much I could feel the heat radiating from my face as I brought both hands to my face, trying to cover my eyes while I screamed Harry's name in a panic.
Harry didn't seem to understand what had happened to me or why I acted that way, since his clone appeared behind him. But once he saw his clone, he understood and wanted to undo it, though he still didn't know how. So I had to explain that he had to touch it and try to guide the mana that formed it back to his body. Once he told me he'd done it, I was able to lower my hands and open my eyes, noticing that Harry's face was probably as red as mine.
I told Harry he had to concentrate hard on how he imagined the clone to avoid something similar happening again.
What had happened was that Harry hadn't focused on the clone's clothing, so his clone appeared completely naked. And I have to admit, Harry has an incredible body for a boy his age. His body has just the right amount of muscle thanks to his training on the Quidditch team, and his... his... well, it's incredibly large. I don't know if it's because of my inexperience in these matters or if it's just Harry who's so amazing.
I tried to help Harry so he could make the clone properly, but the image of him naked kept appearing in my mind, and I couldn't concentrate. Harry didn't seem to be able to concentrate either, since he couldn't make another clone appear. So we decided to go to sleep and continue tomorrow with Hermione.
I don't know how to describe the night I had... because for the first time in both our lives, I had a naughty dream... and Harry was the other person in my dream.
The next morning, I couldn't see Harry without my heart starting to race like a runaway horse, and I felt my face getting hot even with my Occlumency activated.
I had to avoid looking Harry in the eye and drink several glasses of cold water and recite the multiplication tables in my head to calm myself down a bit and not make the atmosphere awkward, but even when I tried, Hermione seemed to notice something and asked if anything had happened last night, to which I replied that nothing had happened. Luckily, before she could ask any more questions, Grey, Winky, and Dobby came into the Great Hall handing us what appeared to be our Hogwarts letters with lists of the materials we would need for the start of classes, and in my case, there were also my test results where I confirmed that I could be in fourth year along with Harry and Hermione.
They both asked me about my results, so I gave them the letter, and after they saw it, they congratulated me. Then we were making plans for shopping. I told them I'd like to do the shopping early and not leave it until the last minute to avoid crowds, but we'd have to talk to the Weasleys to see if they'd agree, since Harry and Hermione told me they always do their shopping in the last few days. So we'd have to send them a letter to arrange a meeting, since the elves can't take us because they don't know the area, and I can't open a portal to their house for the same reason.
Since Harry had left Hedwig at the Weasleys' house, we had thought about sending the letter with Artemis, but I wasn't very sure if it would work since I had never used her to send a letter before. Luckily, at that moment we were talking about this in the garden and saw a white owl approaching, which Harry recognized as Hedwig, who was carrying a letter from the Weasleys asking if they would be returning home or if they would need to send Harry and Hermione's things to my house, since they had previously planned to stay with them until classes started and travel together to King's Cross Station.
At first Hermione seemed to want to return to the Weasleys' house, but she seemed to reconsider and convinced Harry to have his things sent to my house. I'm not sure, but I think it had something to do with the conversation we had about chocolate. So that Harry wouldn't suspect anything was wrong, I suggested inviting Ron and the twins over to my house and taking the opportunity to talk to them about the school shopping. In the end, Harry agreed and sent them a letter with Hedwig.
