As Akira stepped out of the door, a massive gust of wind hit her, knocking her off balance.
" CHIKKY!!!!" She jumped into his arms the moment she saw him.
" What happened?" Hawks was not his usual bright self. His usual cheer was paired with a serious undertone.
He held her in his arms, the same way he did five years ago when he first met her.
And the moment he asked that question, the dam in her eyes broke as he took off into sky before anyone spotted them.

" Kero?" Tsuyu went to Aizawa sensei thinking Akira went to him.

Not as fast as you but still super fast!!! Waaaaahhhhhh!!!!!! And Aizawa sensei was fighting that ugly handman with desert skin and he was winning and this monster was like ready to jump on Aizawa sensei! So we were all keeping our distance and blasting it and sensei disengaged when it got too close and then that thing and handjob paired up and sensei was constantly erasing that hand job's quirk and that big monster 's quirk at once while literally fighting and capturing the other small fries but that thing is still so freaking strong but it's regeneration got really really slower than before and then it looked at Mina and I don't know what happened! I was like panicking and doing whatever came to mind and then everything went blank and I didn't know what I was doing!!! Then everything went black! Like literally!!! It all went red and black and superblack!
Then I don't know what happened and I suddenly woke up and Broccoli was holding me and I saw Mina and I was like so freaking relieved!!! I thought it's over!!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "
Akira cried out everything into Hawks chest as they ended up on the top of a tree in the middle of nowhere as Hawksss held her tightly, cradling her in his arms as he settled her on his lap.

He planted a tender kiss on her head as her loud cries and complaints slowly dissolved into soft sobs and hics.

She sniffled, still laying her head on her brother's chest and clutching his shirt.
Hawks had always been the most observant person in room. He could feel the heartbeat and breathing patterns of everyone in a room.
So when he came back home the previous day and found his sister's heartbeat slightly frantic than usual, he knew she was hiding something.
She's a terrible liar. Only to him. Horrible at hiding anything more than a day or two. He was watching her since she was ten.
He knew what could rattle her. Either excitement at figuring out some new application of quirk, seeing him hurt, getting restless over training or remembering her parents.
There was nothing else. But she always calmed down when he put her to sleep in his arms.
He always looked forward to coming home to her every day. He didn't know when he started doing that.
At some point in life, she colonized his entire world without him noticing.
He didn't know when that happened.
But his fridge stopped having the perfect meals of protein and started to get filled with milkshakes, fruits, vegetables and chocolates.
Meat was banned from the house.
Small doodles of cute rats peeking out of dark holes showed up on random corners of his house.
New photos and memories of various trips, new plants, random makeup, cute completely useless toys, meaningless pretty looking things started to show up in every room.
His closet got new additions every week. And his closest stopped being entirely his.
She became his family, his mother at some point.
When he saw her troubled yesterday, he waited for her to open up herself. She doesn't hide. Never.
She might wait but would definitely tell him everything. So he was not in hurry. She had always been a smart little girl. He never had to worry about her with anything other than bedtime.
Her love for those fictional stories would make her stay up all night if he doesn't snatch that phone away.
He never had to worry about his little angel.
But there was a lingering feeling of unease when she left to school that morning.
Her heartbeat was a mess. She was scared. He pretended to not notice. She always hated when anyone pokes their nose into her business anyone without her asking.
So he waited. She left to school. But his unease only increased as his day passed.
After the first and second patrol, he delegated his work to his sidekick and flew to her school to check on her just in case.
He took some chocolates with him just incase she spotted him. Observant little menace. He could always say he's there on some business and just happened to pass by candy store.
