William's POV
The weekend finally arrived, and I felt lighter the moment I saw Ethan waiting for me outside my house. He leaned against his car with his arms crossed, looking calm as always. When he noticed me, a small smile appeared on his face.
"Ready?" he asked.
I nodded and climbed into the passenger seat. The drive to his place was quiet and comfortable. I watched the trees pass by the window while Ethan kept one hand on the wheel. Every now and then he glanced at me, and the small smile stayed on his face. When we arrived, he parked and led me inside.
Once we were in the living room, I couldn't hold the words back any longer. The wedding was still fresh in my mind.
