Vael's POV
Jax pulled me a little further away from Lirien and Theo so we could talk privately. He kept his voice very low.
"When are you planning to make him your boyfriend?" he asked directly. "Because it's obvious. He's crazy about you, and you're crazy about him. I can see it."
I looked over at Lirien again. He was smiling more freely now while talking to Theo.
"Soon," I answered. "I'm thinking during the party. I want it to be special for him."
Jax nodded, looking pleased. Then his expression became more serious. He rubbed the back of his neck, looking a bit embarrassed.
"Can I ask you for some advice?" he said quietly. "It's about me and Theo."
"Of course."
