The night air in Seoul grew colder.
The street lights flickered above the empty road as four teenagers stood facing the cloaked servant of the Shadow Covenant.
Dark energy twisted around the man's body like l haiving smoke.
His glowing purple eyes stared at them with amusement.
He slowly spread his arms.
"Let me show you… the power of the Shadow Covenant."
The ground beneath his feet cracked.
Purple energy burst outward like a violent storm.
Min-Joon stepped back.
"Okay… I officially regret coming out tonight this is really bad idea."
Ara's red eyes glowed brighter.

The Battle Begins
He vanished in a blur of dark energy.
Jae-Min reacted instantly.
"Left!"
The servant appeared beside Ara and swung a powerful kick.
Ara blocked it with her arm, but the force sent her sliding across the pavement.
Min-Joon immediately raised his hand and fire started coming out of his hand.
"Flame Burst!"
A blazing fireball shot toward the enemy.
The servant waved his hand.
Dark smoke swallowed the fire completely.
Min-Joon blinked.
"…That's illegal. U are cheating."
Yuna stepped forward.
A glowing magic circle formed beneath her feet.
"Arcane Chains!"
Four glowing purple chains shot out of the air, wrapping around the servant's arms and legs.
For a moment—
He stopped moving.
Jae-Min seized the opportunity.
His eyes turned golden.
His claws extended slightly and his fang come out.
With incredible speed, he dashed forward and slashed the servant across the chest.
SLASH!
Dark energy exploded from the wound.
But the servant didn't scream cuz he didn't feel any pain.
Instead…
He smiled.
"You're fast boy."
The chains suddenly shattered.
The servant grabbed Jae-Min's arm and threw him into a parked car.
CRASH!
Min-Joon shouted.
"JAE-MIN!" U this monster where did u come from?."
Ara's expression turned cold.
Her vampire speed activated instantly.
She appeared behind the servant and struck his back with a powerful kick.
The enemy stumbled forward.
Yuna raised her hand again.
"Arcane Blast!"
A powerful surge of magic slammed into the servant.
The explosion shook the entire street.
Smoke filled the air.
Min-Joon coughed.
"Did we win?"
A voice answered from the smoke.
"No! U didn't." The Servant's True Power
The dark servant slowly stepped out of the smoke.
His coat was torn.
But the wound on his chest was already healing.
Purple energy pulsed from his body.
"You forced me to use more power."
Min-Joon whispered,
"That's the opposite of what we wanted dude."
The servant raised both hands.
Dark shadows spread across the ground.
They twisted and formed sharp blades made of pure darkness.
"Shadow Covenant servants are not ordinary humans don't u know?."
"We are reborn through darkness."
He swung his arm.
The shadow blades shot toward them.
Jae-Min barely rolled out of the way.
Ara dodged with vampire speed.
Yuna created a magical barrier.
But Min-Joon—
"AHHH!"
He jumped behind a trash bin.
The shadow blade sliced it in half.
Min-Joon peeked out.
"That was my shield! why did u ruin it."
Ara shouted,
"Stop hiding and fight! Min Joon."
Min-Joon stood up angrily.
"Fine let get to work!"
"Flame Cyclone!"
A powerful spiral of fire exploded from his hands.
The flames surrounded the servant completely.
For the first time—
The servant stepped back.
Yuna noticed something.
"The fire… it weakens his shadows!"
Jae-Min stood up again.
His wolf instincts were blazing now.
"Then let finish this together."
Yuna quickly began drawing a large magical circle in the air.
"Hold him still!"
Ara dashed forward again.
Her red eyes burned as she attacked the servant with rapid strikes.
The enemy blocked several hits but struggled to keep up with her speed.
Jae-Min rushed in from the side.
His claws slashed through the servant's shadow armor.
Min-Joon raised both hands.
Fire gathered around him.
"Okay… big time to attack."
Yuna shouted,
"Now!"
Min-Joon unleashed a massive wave of fire.

Yuna activated her spell.
"Grand Arcane Seal!"
A giant magic circle appeared beneath the servant's feet.
The flames and magic collided together.
The street exploded with light.

The blast shook nearby buildings.
Cars alarms began ringing everywhere.
When the smoke cleared…
The servant was kneeling on the ground.
His body cracked with dark energy.
He looked up at them slowly.
"…Impressive."
Min-Joon smiled proudly.
"Thank you dude for the compliment."
The servant suddenly laughed.
"But You still lost."
Before anyone could react—
His body began dissolving into shadows.
Yuna's eyes widened.
"He's escaping!"
The servant's voice echoed as his body vanished.
"This is only the beginning kids."

"why did he keep calling us kid we are not kid anymore."
"The Shadow Covenant has already begun its awakening."

He disappeared completely.
The street became silent again.
After the Battle
The four teenagers stood there breathing heavily.
Min-Joon collapsed onto the road.
"I hate villains that disappear dramatically."
Ara wiped dust from her uniform.
"At least we pushed him back."
Jae-Min looked serious.
"No."
"He was testing us."
Yuna nodded slowly.
"He wanted to see how powerful we are."

The leader of the Shadow Covenant opened his glowing eyes.
"The witch has joined them."
He smiled darkly.
