Chapter 80 - "The Teenagers Vs The Beast Of Gevaudan/The Guardians Vs The Empty"(80)

**Chapter 80: "Teenagers Vs The Beast Of Gévaudan / Guardians Vs The Empty"{80}**

---

**Willowbrook High – Soccer Field – The Long War**

The Beast of Gévaudan stood in the ruined center circle, black fur matted with blood that was not its own, yellow eyes scanning the broken teenagers like a butcher choosing cuts of meat.

Koa was the first to rise again. Beast spirits roared out of his body in overlapping layers — lion, bear, serpent, and something older with too many eyes. He slammed into the Beast's flank and actually moved it three meters.

Lucifer Jr. followed, white-gold wings ragged but still burning. Celestial spears formed in both hands and drove into the monster's shoulders.

Bangu's soccer boots dug into the torn grass. Bella stood beside him. Her body shifted in a spray of feathers and talons — **Were-Hawk**. Wings exploded from her back, eyes turning sharp and golden. She launched upward, circling, waiting for an opening.

Bandile floated a few inches off the ground, telekinetic pressure already building around the Beast's ribcage.

"Hold it still," he growled.

Henrik Helsing loaded a single silver-cored round into his father's old rifle. His hands did not shake.

The Beast roared and charged.

Every teenager answered at once.

Wyatt hurled two flashbangs that detonated in its eyes.

Zayelle's shadow chains wrapped its back legs.

Amon's bone armor locked into place as he tanked a backhand that would have killed anyone else.

Carlton's speed turned him into a red blur, cutting deep lines across the Beast's belly.

Amadou's sandstorm rose from the ruined field and ground against the monster's fur like a thousand knives.

Kenshi's plasma fists lit up the night in blue-white bursts.

Lil Micah's white eyes flared as he projected pure force into the Beast's kneecaps.

Bandile's telekinesis finally found purchase.

With a scream of effort he ripped the Beast's chest open. Ribs cracked outward like a flower made of bone and meat. The black heart pulsed in the open cavity, still beating.

Henrik did not hesitate.

The silver round left the barrel and punched straight through the exposed heart.

The Beast of Gévaudan staggered.

Then the body began to change.

Fur melted. Bones lengthened and rearranged. The yellow eyes turned human for half a second — and then pure black. When the transformation finished, **Jarron** stood in its place in full evil form: taller, leaner, skin like cracked obsidian, a crown of bone growing from his skull, and a smile that belonged in hell.

Jordan Pitas opened fire immediately. Ballistic cannons roared. Rounds sparked off Jarron's new hide. Jarron moved through the storm of bullets, grabbed Jordan by the metal chest plate, and slammed him into the ground hard enough to crater the field. One backhand sent Fenrir tumbling. Another crushed The Guardsman's kinetic shield. Rodriguez Hernandez became visible for a split second when Jarron's claws raked across his ribs.

Gabriel's celestial energy erupted in a golden nova that forced Jarron back two steps.

Tobias answered with hellhound flames, black-and-red fire that clung to Jarron's skin and refused to die.

Kevin Leister's Mythical Matrix went nova. White-blue Rampager energy flooded every muscle. He met Jarron head-on in a collision that shattered every remaining window in the school.

Wyatt, bleeding from the mouth, pulled the pin on the last grenade he had.

He waited until Kevin locked Jarron's arms.

Then he sprinted, jumped, and shoved the live grenade straight down Jarron's open throat.

Kevin released him and backflipped away.

The explosion was wet and final.

Jarron's head vanished in a spray of black blood, bone, and burning teeth. The headless body stood for three full seconds before collapsing.

Silence fell over the field like a held breath finally released.

**White House – South Lawn & Oval Office – Parallel War**

The Emptiness had become a second sky.

Lucifer drove the End Blade into The Empty's chest (still wearing Keisha's body). For one perfect moment it looked like the end.

Then she smiled.

Keisha's skin peeled away like wet paper. What stepped out was **God Sister The Empty** in true form — a walking absence shaped like a woman, edges flickering between dimensions, a hole where her heart should be that sucked light and sound into nothing.

God looked at his sister and made a decision.

Gerald's body cracked open. Divine light poured out. God stepped free in his full aspect — not the restrained version, but the original, the one who had once spoken galaxies into existence.

The two siblings collided.

The military opened fire from every direction. Private Pablo tore off his shirt, veins glowing with impossible energy. His body expanded, skin turning into living metal and storm.

**The Noi Batsu** landed on the South Lawn hard enough to crack the concrete for fifty meters.

The Magnificent 18 met the VIREX agents head-on in the east wing. Gunfire, powers, and pure violence filled the corridors.

Ryan and Gideon cut through the agents until they reached the director's suite.

Anissa Kington, CEO of VIREX, stood behind a desk of black glass, calm even as the building shook.

She looked at Gideon and, for the first time, something like regret crossed her face.

She slid a data drive across the desk.

"The codes. Every remaining experiment. Every location. Take it."

Ryan grabbed the drive.

Gideon did not.

He walked around the desk, placed both hands on either side of Anissa's head, and twisted.

The crack was loud and final. She dropped.

Three gunshots answered immediately.

Ryan's body jerked. He looked down at the spreading red on his chest, then up at Gideon with wide eyes.

"No—no—no—no—"

Gideon caught him as he fell.

"It's my fault. No, man, please. Stay with me. Please."

Ryan's hand went slack.

Outside, God and The Empty tore at each other with the force of opposing laws of reality. Finally God got both hands into the hole that was her chest and **ripped**.

She came apart.

A single fragment of pure Emptiness remained, floating like a black tear. God opened his mouth and consumed both the fragment and the last of the spreading Emptiness.

Cole's voice came over the open channel, raw.

"Thank you, God."

God's answer was quiet and terrible.

"I have lost all hope in humanity."

He raised one hand.

The remaining American missiles launched.

The Alien (super flight blazing) and Cohen (still in Super Eagle form) tore into the sky after them. Two missiles died in mid-air under their combined assault. The last two kept climbing.

Bane's remaining tech pillars realigned. Thor called down a final storm. Lightning thicker than buildings struck both missiles at once. They detonated high above the capital in twin suns of white fire.

Inside the Oval Office, Gerald's body began to wake while God was still outside it.

God tried to re-enter.

Chien Jen moved first. He slammed both hands into God's chest and **absorbed**. Divine power flooded him, burning his veins black and gold. He screamed but did not let go.

Gerald, fully conscious now, staggered forward.

"Give me the power. It's killing you."

Chien Jen, dying from the overload, touched Gerald's forehead. The stolen divinity transferred in a single flash of white light.

Lucifer appeared behind God (now body-less and weakened) and drove the End Blade through what remained of him.

God died.

Gerald stood in the center of the ruined Oval Office, eyes glowing with new and terrible light.

**New God.**

**Epilogue**

Three days later the sky above Willowbrook was ordinary blue again.

The teenagers sat on the ruined bleachers in silence. Some were bandaged. Some were not. Bella's hawk feathers had not fully receded. Henrik still held the rifle that had killed the Beast. Kevin's Mythical Matrix was quiet for the first time in months.

At the White House, Gerald (New God) stood alone on the South Portico and stared at the place where the missiles had been. He did not speak. He did not smile.

Gideon sat in a temporary medical tent with Ryan's blood still under his fingernails, the VIREX data drive clenched in one fist.

Far away, in a place that had no name, a single black speck that had once been part of The Empty drifted through the dark between stars… and waited.

The war was over.

The next one had already begun to dream.
