NIKOLAJ'S POV
As Georgia left the room, my gaze lingered on her. Something was off. She wasn't her usual self—the version of her that, while quiet, usually possessed a certain sharp, bustling energy. Ever since I'd arrived, she seemed to have slowed down, looking almost... subdued. I wondered if the weight of everything was finally starting to crush her.
"Alpha Nikolaj, may I say something?" Katsha's voice broke my train of thought.
"Of course," I replied.
She glanced up at the mezzanine, waiting until Georgia had disappeared behind a door before turning back to me with a heavy sigh. "I think you need to be more cautious regarding Georgia."
I raised an eyebrow. "What makes you say that?"
