Chapter 19 - The Dangerous Plan and the Reckoning

Hirav's voice was steady but determined. "My plan is to catch him. I've hired kidnappers—my dad's elder friends—they'll help me catch him."

Rani's eyes widened in shock as Maggie threw her arms around Hirav, whispering, "I love you. You're crazy. But what about the video?"

Hirav reassured her, "I'll manage everything. Now, I'm heading to that area."

Maggie grabbed his arm, her voice trembling with worry. "Wait, I'm coming with you... What if something goes wrong?"

Hirav shook his head firmly. "I won't allow you to get involved in this."

Tears welled up in Maggie's eyes as she clung tighter. "Please don't face him alone, my love... Riya can stay here. I'll come."

"Just trust me," Hirav said softly.

She nodded slowly, kissed his lips gently, and whispered, "Be safe, my love."

Now, Hirav sat waiting in the car, tense and alert, awaiting news.

Suddenly, his phone buzzed. A message from the kidnappers: "Target acquired. He's tied up, waiting for you."

Without hesitation, Hirav rushed to the location.

The kidnappers asked, "What did he do?"

Hirav replied grimly, "He blackmailed my girlfriend with a private video."

They growled in disgust. "We hate guys like that. Want us to rough him up?"

The guy tied up pretended to be brave. "You don't know who I am," he sneered.

The kidnappers stepped back, eyes wide. One whispered to Hirav, "You're... the politician's son. What do you want to do with this guy?"

Hirav struggled to control his anger. "Please, leave me alone."

They nodded and left quickly.

Now face to face with the blackmailer, Hirav tried to stay calm. He untied the ropes and asked, "Why did you do this to my girlfriend?"

The guy smirked, "Your girlfriend looked hot in that swimsuit... thought she'd make a good wife."

Rage surged through Hirav, but before he could react, the guy suddenly pushed him and threw a metal rod.

The rod hit Hirav's shoulder, blood dripping down his arm. Though the rod was light, the pain was sharp.

The guy ran, shouting, "Maggie will suffer for this! that video will be viraled!"

Hirav's heart stopped. He lunged, grabbing the guy leg and tackling him down. "You'll die before that video sees daylight!"

The kidnappers fired three shots into the guy leg. He screamed in agony, tears streaming.

Desperately, the guy begged, "Anything, just stop! What do you want?"

Hirav's voice was cold. "There's no place for people like you in this world."

The guy screamed, begging and crying, promising to delete everything.

Hirav watched as he deleted the video in front of him, but he didn't trust him.

The guy swore, "Only I had it. Check my phone, my cloud—I swear on my mother's life."

Hirav shook his head. "Never."

With the kidnappers' help, he threw the guy toward a burning oil container.

The guy was submerged for a split second before the kidnappers pulled him out, screaming and badly burned.

Hirav knew then—it was over. The man was dead.

Suddenly, police sirens echoed in the distance.

The kidnappers grabbed Hirav's arm. "Time to go, politician's son. Your secret's safe."

They ran to the car, speeding away just as police cars arrived.

Hirav didn't call Maggie immediately. The kidnappers safely dropped Hirav back home.

Maggie rushed into his arms, tears of joy streaming. But then she saw his bloodied shoulder and screamed, "What happened?!"

Hirav handed her the guy's phone, showing everything. Then Hirav collapsed to the floor.

Maggie caught to Hirav, eyes wide with worry. She saw the blood and the phone screen flashing "VIDEO DELETED."

She collapsed beside Hirav, kissing his face. "You did it... Are you okay?"

Hirav nodded weakly.

From the crack in the door, Riya peeked in, scared.

Maggie noticed and burst into tears of relief and laughter. "Riya, sweetie, your brother's okay!"

Riya ran to Hirav, hugging him tightly. "Thank you, bro, for saving my sis-in-law's life."

Hirav's heart melted.

Maggie hugged Riya tightly, then looked at Hirav with tears of happiness.

Night fell, and they went to sleep.

Maggie snuggled close, Whispers I missed this hug and her hand resting gently on Hirav's injured shoulder. She whispered, "Love you..."

Hirav kissed her forehead softly.

Morning came, but Hirav was not in the house.
