As they sat quietly, Hirav noticed Maggie's phone suddenly start ringing.
Rani's voice lowered with concern, "Is it her mom—the one she's afraid of telling about us?"
Hirav shook his head, "No idea! She went out to the balcony to answer."
Curious, Rani asked, "Did you follow her and see her face turn white after answering?"
Hirav replied, "I didn't follow her. Instead, I caught Riya."
Rani smiled knowingly, "Did Riya whisper, 'Didi looks scared, brother—what did YOU do?'"
Hirav chuckled, "I was just holding Riya because she was trying to go to Maggie."
Rani laughed, "Did Riya struggle and say, 'LET ME GO, brother—Didi needs me right now'?"
Hirav teased, "He twisted her ear and said, 'You'll trap her dirty.'"
Rani giggled, "Did Riya squeal, 'NOOO, brother—Didi loves YOU dirty!'?"
Hirav grinned, "Tied Riya's hands with a rope."
Rani's eyes widened, "Did she glare and say, 'Didi's gonna KILL YOU when she sees this, brother'?"
Hirav laughed, "Yeah! And Riya yelled, 'Didi, save me!'"
Suddenly, Maggie came running in, her eyes blazing with emotion. "What did she say to you?" Rani asked.
Hirav's voice softened, "She looked already sad. Tears fell a bit after that call."
Rani's tone grew serious, "Her tears fell harder now, and she whispered, 'What. Did. You. Do... to my little Riya?'"
Hirav nodded, "I think she is trying to change the topic, distracting herself from those tears."
Rani agreed, "You're right, she is
distracting herself. Did you ask, 'What's wrong, baby?'"
Hirav said, "She said nothing, but her tears kept falling."
Rani asked, "Did you gently wipe them away, saying, 'Talk to me, my love'?"
Hirav replied, "she said everything was fine, just sad because I tied up Riya."
Rani laughed softly, "Did you say, 'That's not why you're crying, baby—Riya's already untied herself'?"
Hirav smiled, "Riya smiled and said, 'Didi, I'm fine.'"
Rani continued, "Did Maggie smile back at Riya, then turn to you with eyes still slightly teary, and say, 'We need to talk'?"
Hirav nodded, "Riya to go watch TV."
Rani said, "Did Riya give a thumbs up and run off, then Maggie grabbed your hand tightly?"
Hirav says, "Riya peeked from the crack in the door."
Rani asked, "Did you notice and mouth, 'Go watch TV,' then Maggie whispered something in your ear?"
Hirav smiled, "Riya pouted, saying, 'I want to know what happened to my sis-in-law.'"
Rani's voice softened, "Maggie's face turned bright red. Did she whisper to you, 'Tell her NOTHING happened... yet'?"
Hirav kissed Riya's forehead and handed her the phone. "You can order anything you want.'"
Rani laughed, "Did Riya squeal and run off? Maggie's eyes locked onto yours—what did she say?"
Hirav's voice grew serious, "Her tears started falling harder, so I locked the door."
Rani asked, "She's sobbing now. Did you pull her into a tight hug and ask, 'What's wrong, my love?'"
Hirav nodded, "Maggie said, 'Yesterday, we went to that swimming pool, right?'"
Rani's voice grew nervous, "Did you nod and say, 'Yeah... our romantic swim—what about it?'"
Hirav continued, "she cried and said someone recorded her while she was wearing a swimsuit."
Rani's eyes widened, "Did you pull her closer and say, 'Who? I'll destroy them!'"
Hirav admitted, "For a while, I was blank."
Rani asked, "Did Maggie look up at you with tears in her eyes and say, 'That person called me just now'?"
Hirav nodded, "Maggie cried and said he's blackmailing her."
Rani's heart broke. "Did you hold her tight and say, 'I'll kill him. What does he want?'"
Hirav said, "Maggie cried and said he's forcing her to marry him through that video."
Rani gasped, "Did you explode in rage, then pull her close, whispering, 'He'll die before that happens'?"
Hirav nodded, "Now he's hugging her and calming her down."
Rani said softly, "Her tears slowed, and she whispered, 'Love you, save me.' What did you say?"
Hirav smiled thoughtfully, "After a while, he thought of something dangerous. He said, 'Maggie, just tell him your father is ready to marry you to him.'"
Rani's eyes widened with shock and amusement. "Did she burst out laughing and say, 'You're evil! I LOVE this plan—why will it destroy him?'"
Hirav said, "Maggie cried and said, 'I don't know what your plan is, but what if it fails and the video goes viral?'"
Rani's heart ached. "I said, 'Not if his scandal is bigger... even your dad is a politician, isn't he?'"
Hirav nodded, "My dad is a politician, but he won't support me in this case because my plan is dangerous."
Rani's jaw dropped. "Did Maggie say, 'NO. WAY. Your dad will disown you for this!' Did she hug you tightly?"
Hirav said, "Maggie, 'Trust me. Just call that guy to this address. I'll manage everything.'"
Rani said, "Maggie called him, then turned to you with tears in her eyes and said, 'He's coming here NOW. What are you going to do?'"
