As the carriage moved forward slowly,
Cheers echoed behind them. Laughter filled the air. The went to a place where lovers spend real time together. The retuned back since their present was required at the reception.
The reception hall shimmered with lights, laughter, and music. Golden chandeliers sparkled above, while soft petals lined the floor once again. The air was filled with joy, chatter, and anticipation.
"Ladies and gentlemen…" Ivan's voice rang through the microphone.
"Please rise as we welcome the newly married couple Mr. and Mrs. Hansen Gray!"
The doors opened and cheers exploded.
Hansen stepped in first, confident as eve, then turned, extending his hand. Sunshine took it, glowing, radiant, unstoppable.
Together, they walked in.
Applause, whistles and laughter flooded the room.
Lucas stood on a chair. "Mje way for true love!"
"Get down!" Ciara pulled him back.
The music softened. Hansen turned to Sunshine, offering his hand again.
"May I have this dance… Mrs. Gray?"
She smiled. "Always."
They stepped onto the floor with Slow and graceful moves.
Like the world had paused just for them.
Sunshine rested her head lightly against his chest. "You've made today unforgettable," she whispered.
Hansen smiled, holding her closer.
"You are the unforgettable part."
Around them, guests watched in awe. Some smiled whiles some wiped tears. Even Kane znodded slightly. "Not bad." Valerie swayed along from the side, copying their steps.
"This love is really undeniable." Mama Cruz shared tears of joy.
"Okay that's enough romance!" Lucas shouted. He jumped onto the dance floor, dragging Ciara with him.
"Lucas! Leave me!" "Never!"
Soon, everyone joined. The music changed whiles laughter grew louder.
Ivan pulled Charis gently. "Dance?"
She hesitated… then nodded.
"Just don't step on me."
"No promises," he teased.
They laughed, moving together awkward at first, then naturally.
Across the room, Jayden approached Ciara again. "You owe me a proper dance," he said. Ciara smirked. "You're bold today."
"I caught the bouquet," he reminded her.
She laughed. "Fair point."
"Cake time!" Valerie announced loudly.
The couple stood before the grand cake.
Hansen handed Sunshine the knife.
"Together," he said. They cut it slowly as cheers filled the room.
Sunshine took a small piece… and fed him.
He raised a brow. "Oh, it's like that?"
He fed her back slightly bigger.
"Hey!" she laughed.
Lucas shouted, "Smear it!"
"Don't you dare," Sunshine warned.
Hansen smiled innocently.
"I would never." He thought about it though.
After the cutting of cake, Ciara raised her glass.
"To my sister in-law of my heart. And to Hansen, who now has the responsibility of keeping her happy forever."
Lucas followed.
"If she cries, we're coming for you."
Hansen raised his hands. "Noted."
Ivan added quietly, "You already know what she means to all of us. Take care of her."
Hansen nodded sincerely.
"With everything I have."
Later in the night, Hansen pulled Sunshine aside to the balcony. The noise faded behind them. " You okay?" he asked softly.
She nodded, looking out at the lights.
"I don't want this day to end."
He stepped behind her, wrapping his arms around her gently.
"It doesn't have to," he whispered. "This is just the beginning." She leaned into him.
"I love you." He kissed her temple.
"I love you more."
Back inside, music blasted again.
Valerie danced wildly with Lucas. Ciara laughed freely. Ivan and Charis shared quiet smiles between dances. Mama Cruz watched it all… proud, fulfilled. She was just happy for her daughter.
As the night slowly faded into memories, Hansen held Sunshine close one last time on the dance floor with no words, and just love. He looked straight in her eyes as they danced
One by one, guests began to leave still smiling, still talking about the wedding that felt like a dream. Lights dimmed, laughter faded into quiet echoes. Until finally only a few remained.
Hansen held Sunshine's hand again.
"Just one more?" he asked softly.
She smiled, already stepping closer.
"Always one more." A slow melody played faintly in the background. This time there was no crowd, and no noise. It was just them.
They swayed gently beneath the soft lights.
Sunshine rested her head against his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.
"I don't want tonight to end," she whispered.
Hansen tightened his arms around her slightly.
"Then let's not rush it," he murmured. "Let's remember every second."
After the final dance, they stepped outside.
The night air was cool. Calm. The sky stretched endlessly above them, dotted with quiet stars. Hansen took off his jacket and placed it gently over her shoulders.
"You'll get cold," he said.
She smiled. "You've done enough already."
"Never enough for you."
They walked slowly, side by side.
Sunshine stopped walking which made H ansen turned to her.
"I used to be scared," she admitted softly.
"Of what?" he asked.
"Of losing everything … of loving too much and ending up alone."
His expression softened deeply.
He stepped closer.
"You won't lose me," he said quietly. "Not in this lifetime." Her eyes shimmered.
"You promise?"
"I don't make promises I can't keep."
She nodded slowly, believing him completely.
He lifted her chin gently and kissed her passionately. It was soft at first… then deeper, filled with everything they hadn't said out loud. The kind of kiss that didn't need words. The kind that said,
I choose you, again and again.
When they returned, the house was quiet.
For once…There was no Lucas, no noise, no chaos. It was just peace. Hansen led her inside, their fingers still intertwined.
"Welcome home," he whispered again.
She looked around…Then back at him.
"I never thought I'd be living here forever," she said softly. He smiled.
"And now you do."
The nightwas filled with quiet laughter… gentle touches… and hearts finally at rest.
And as they lay side by side, the felt closer than ever.
