Loreen's POV
"So we made quite a scene in front of Edgar," Sairis said. His voice was quieter now, the sharp edges of it gone.
Loreen pressed a kiss to the top of his head. "I would wager that Edgar was not shocked," he said. "Disappointed is more likely. Disappointed that you are mine."
Sairis was quiet for a moment. "You noticed," he said.
"I noticed the first day I saw the two of you together in the corridor," Loreen said. "It was not difficult to see."
Sairis made a small sound. "Edgar is a good person," he said.
"I did not say he was not," Loreen said.
"You did not have to," Sairis said. "I can hear it in your voice."
"There is nothing in my voice," Loreen said. "And if you are suggesting that I am jealous, I am not."
Sairis hummed. "Are you certain."
"You are mine, Sair," Loreen said. "Not his. There is nothing to be jealous of. He has nothing that concerns me."
"You sound very certain about that," Sairis said.
"I am very certain about that," Loreen said.
