Loreen's POV
Loreen set Sairis down on the bed carefully, making sure he was sat well before letting go.
Sairis looked up at him from where he sat, his hair slightly out of place from being carried, and said nothing.
He just looked at Loreen with that particular look that Loreen was beginning to learn meant that the wall was fully down and Sairis had stopped pretending he did not want this.
Loreen reached out and tucked a strand of hair behind Sairis's ear. His hand stayed there, resting against the side of his face.
"Your arm," Loreen said.
"Is fine," Sairis said.
"Ardent wrapped it for a reason," Loreen said.
"Loreen," Sairis said.
"Yes."
"Stop talking about my arm."
Loreen looked at him for a moment. Then he leaned down and kissed him, and Sairis reached up and grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled him down with a firmness that made it very clear he was done with the conversation.
