The two statues move weirdly slow. Yet they pack a tremendous punch. Despite their ludicrous attempt of a fight, they were not allowing either of them to get close to the temple.
"Enough with it! I'm finishing them off" Sanso shouted and unleashed a piercing blood. But the blood splattered off at the belly rock only dying it up red. "Shit, my technique is not working" he said.
"Obviously you moron. They are made of boulders not tofu" Megumi said annoyingly. He pulled out his playful cloud from his shadow and dashed toward one of them. He landed a hit on the head, but it did little damage. The statue only flinched.
'It sturdy' he thought 'I can unleash my domain and swallow both of them, but it only drags me down. If there are any more statues like them, it will only get more troublesome later.' "Sanso get that one I will deal with this" he said and dashed for the statue. Hitting it with the weapon he took it to the other side of the plot.
The other statue went to assist him, but his leg was held by Sanso blood. Even though the two sorcerers unleashed damaging attacks, the boulders were sturdy.
Megumi at last decided to summon his shikigamis. He made a sign and summoned Max elephant. The shikigami was five times bigger and landed right above the boulder, pulverising it to the ground. When the shikigami disipited, the pieces of boulder lay scatter in the crater.
'Well this will do' he said to himself
But the other statue hurried away from Sanso. Megumi thought it was coming for him, but it just passed by him and entered into the crater. Megumi was astonished to see the statue gathering all the pieces and putting them back together. Within a minute the statue was recompleted and again brought back to animation.
Megumi curled his eyebrows. He dropped the weapon into his shadow and from it pulled another weapon. Now this time it was the soul slashing katana. He took a stance and his cursed energy plumeted very low. After a few seconds in that pose, he smiled up and said
"I guessed so!"
