Arc 3 chapter 47
While the events that are happening in the city are still occurring, the Ducher family Mansion was in a very heated position as the battle between Albert and Edwick doesn't seem like it's about to end on sigh as they were both too evenly matched for the battle to draw a conclusion, the more the fought the more the shockwaves destroyed the things around them including the mansion's structure in the front door which was in total chaos.
Albert was able to sent Edwick to the sky with a kick and went after him from outside the mansion to the woods which Edwick was sent flying at. With them out of the Ducher grounds, Alex who was still in his Red armor stayed behind with Milly and Kali.
Alex: where's Rachel and Martha?
Milly:... They're... Well a little bit passed out right now.
Alex: what?!
Milly: don't worry, they're gonna be fine they just need some rest.
Alex: what happened?
Milly: well...
Milly explained everything that happened on their training and how Martha's power went out of control and she started attacking everyone and how why Milly thought that it's connected to the Kraken and that Martha is a vessel of that monster.
Milly: Sion's not gonna like this...
Alex: more like the opposite.
Milly: what? He's girlfriend is a monster and you say that he's gonna like it?
Kali: well he's gonna try and find a way to help her while messing with the beast for research that's for sure.
Milly: geez...
Kali: well I don't care about a lot of stuff right now! I just wanna check up on Rachel and Martha!
Milly: well like I said you shouldn't worry much cuz they'll be fine in that sub dimension I placed them.
Kali: (puffs out her cheeks and stares at)
Milly:.... OK fine we'll go check them out geez (why do you gotta be so cute!) Alex are you coming with us?
Alex:... I'm sorry but Sion is still inside the city and...
Milly: I know, I get it plus he's with my two boys, so hurry up and catch up to him okay?
Alex: sure thing! See you guys in a bit.
Kali: (kisses Alex on the cheek) there's nothing to it... Just for luck (blushing)
Alex: (such a tsundere... But cute though) yeah I'll need that. (dashes outside the Ducher estate)
Kali:... What are you looking at with that grin?!
Milly: oh nothing, just a tad jealous.
Kali: geez there's nothing to be jealous about! Let's go already!
Milly: okay~~~
Milly and Kali went to one of the rooms where Milly hid the sub dimension so that there's no outside interference during Rachel and Martha's recovery after what happened to them especially Rachel.
Kali has been worried about them ever since they fell unconscious and she couldn't get her head straight due to someone she cared about bieng in such pain, her rabbit ears have been down the whole time and her tail haven't moved an inch, she just couldn't wait anymore.
When they got inside the sub dimension, Rachel and Martha were already awake but Martha was down in the dumps and stayed on her blankets while Rachel was trying so hard to cheer her up but it didn't do much.
The moment Kali laid eyes on Rachel, her ears rised up and her bunny tail started moving left and right uncontrollably and went straight to dive at her. Rachel who didn't even see Kali coming was surprised at the sudden impact of a rabbit type beast-folk that just landed on her, she thought it was raining bunny girls for a second.
Kali: Rachel!!! (rubbing her cheeks with hers)
Rachel: Kali?! Hey calm down!
Kali: No! I'm not letting go yet!
Rachel: huh? Were you that worried about me? (smirk)
Kali: of course I was! I was worried sick!
Rachel: (wow she admitted it) well I'm fine now... Thanks for worrying about me.
Kali: (hugs her tight and her ears fall on top of Rachel's head) yeah... I don't wanna see you get hurt like that ever again!
Rachel:... Kali... Your ears... Doesn't that mean...
Kali: yeah? You said you didn't mind the other day.
Rachel: I don't but I think I was just bieng overconfident.
Kali: well who fucking cares!
Kali's face got closer to Rachel's and without warning she kissed Rachel right at the spot. Rachel went along with it and held her closer while kissing her back.
Milly: (Holy shit! I did not see that coming)
Rachel: (finally pulls back) are you happy now?
Kali: yes I am!
Milly: you guys just kissed!
Kali: uhh yeah? What about it?
Milly: what do you mean?! What about Alex?!
Kali: all three of us kiss every time we do it though.
Milly: No! I don't need to know your bedroom secrets. Oh gosh so this is normal for you guys?
Rachel: yeah kinda.
Milly: (in low voice) none of those noble bastards can ever make a harem this hot before...
Rachel: what was that?
Milly: oh nothing! Anyways what's wrong with her? (pointing at Martha who was sulking under her sheets)
Rachel: well... She blames herself for what happened at the flower field and now she won't even look at me in the eyes.
Martha:....
Kali: why would she blame herself? I mean an ancient monster took over her body... We all saw it.
Milly: I think she's sad cuz it was done by her own hands.
Kali: was she the one who ripped off Rachel's arm?
Milly: well no but it was her body and that guilt can be strong.
Kali: well Rachel is all good now isn't she? She even got her arm back!
Martha:....yeah but still... I just can't okay? Don't pretend to be okay with it, knowing that I did it.
Kali: ghrrr! (gets up!)
Rachel: Kali wai—
Kali: don't stop me!
Kali went to Martha's side and instantly removed her blankets and grabbed her by the color and raised her up while still grabbing her by the color.
Martha: (afraid) what are you doing?!
Kali: look at me right now... Do I look angry?
Martha: yes, you do.
Kali: good! But this anger is different, the reason I'm angry right now is because of your weak and pathetic mentality that you're displaying.
Rachel: Kali...
Kali: an ancient bedtime story monster turned out to be real and took over your body and attacked us and you want us to blame you? Are you fucking kidding me? Do we look like morons to you?... Huh?
Martha: no..
Kali: today I just discovered that you have a Krakon—
Milky: A Kraken.
Kali: a Kraken inside you!
Martha:....
Kali: I don't know how you have it or who placed it inside you, but one thing I know is that it's not your fault. Do you know how worried I was when I heard such a thing exists inside you? I thought it might suck up your soul!
Martha:.... I'm...
Kali: you don't have to say it, but you're the woman who stole Sion's heart of all people, so act like it. (let's go of her) geez you ruined my moment with Rachel.
Rachel: well Martha? Do you get it now? The Crimson Fates is a weird party that's for sure, but we're also free to cast our own judgment according to what's clearly obvious. So don't ever think of us as low as that or Kali might actually hit you.
Martha:.... Hehehe Hahaha! Man how are you guys so cool?
Milly: well I hate to break the good atmosphere and all, but there's something you guys should know about our current state....

On the woods just outside the Ducher estate, Albert and Edwick were tow to tow in a battle of monsters, the forest trees were bieng cut down and the shock waves were destroying nearby rocks and causing earthquakes.
Albert and Edwick didn't look like they were stopping anytime as they keep throwing battle techs and magic abilities at each other non stop and either of them is never truly affected.
Albert: you're still tough as I remember ya old man.
Edwick: and you got weaker. I should've been dead the moment we started fighting... What happened to you Super Punch!
Albert: I hate that name... Well fatherhood happened I guess.
Edwick: you raising a child? Which woman fed you such a love potion?
Albert: none... I just did it on a whim.
Edwick: I doubt that... (I'm running out of time... I should have found the natures by now, but I just had to come across him!... I guess I can still use that attack, but.... Fuck it! I don't care what happens to these people, I must make distance with Rhodes as fast as I can) (grin) tell me Albert... When was the last time you witnessed a bloodbath?!
Albert:.... What are you thinking of doing this time.
Edwick: simple... I'm going to reduce this city in half.
