Rollings Designs - The same day
Vance spread the papers across the table as we all studied them over and over again.
"I've already compared them to the documents we have from the River folder," Vance said.
"What's the matter?" John said as he noticed something off about Vance.
"I can't pinpoint it, but there's something bothering me that I can't pinpoint," Vance said.
"I noticed several dates don't match,"
"Look here," Vance said, showing us.
"This matter is clearly older ink as it's almost fading,"
"While this text is black as night,"
"Meaning, this text was added afterwards, or rather after a few years from the original date,"
I noticed Jonathan was also marking the inconsistencies.
"Look," Vance said. "These…none of them are original records, and from here…..here…and here, several sections seem to have been removed,"
My blood was boiling as the edited documents made Jonathan's mother look like she deliberately abandoned her inheritance.
