"Hm? Sabrina, you said you want an Eevee?"
While en route to the next town, Ash made his customary calls home and to his fiancées to report his safety. This time, he was reporting to Sabrina. However, upon learning that his next destination was Stone Town, Sabrina made a request: she wanted him to help her find a suitable Eevee in Stone Town.
"That's right. Because I feel an Espeon would be a suitable partner for me in the future, I thought about catching one. But you know that as a Gym Leader, I can't leave for too long. So I can only leave it to you."
"Stone Town does have some good Eevees. Given my relationship with the Eevee, asking them for a few newly born Eevees shouldn't be a problem."
"Then I'll leave it in your hands."
"Yeah, I'll do my best to find one that suits you. Also, don't stay up too late playing with Gengar and the others. You need your rest. Gengar, I can already hear you laughing! Don't keep pestering Sabrina to play, you hear me?!"
"Gengar! Gengar!"
"Don't laugh! If my wife is sleep-deprived because she was playing with you guys, I'll beat you up when I get back!"
"Gengar! Gengar!" (The overprotective husband is raging!)
Hearing Ash's words over the comms, a faint smile graced Sabrina's lips. "Alright, I'll be careful. Be safe on your journey. Bye."
"Bye."
After ending the call with Sabrina, Misty asked curiously, "Ash, you can even find Eevees?"
"Yeah. Actually, I happen to know a family where almost everyone has an Eevee, and I get a lot of Evolution Stones from them too."
"I see..."
"But speaking of which..." Looking at Misty, Suzie, and Lara, Ash seemed to think of something. "In that case, it's the perfect opportunity for you guys to catch an Eevee too. Besides, Eevee's evolutions actually suit you guys quite well."
Saying that, Ash turned to Meowth beside him. "Meowth, pull up pictures of Glaceon, Leafeon, and Sylveon."
"Right away, Boss."
Meowth pulled a tablet out of his bag, tapped the screen a few times, and showed it to everyone.
"Take a look, meow."
When Misty, Suzie, Lara, and Brock saw the three Eeveelutions, they were instantly captivated.
"This Glaceon is so beautiful! Is it an Ice-type?!"
The moment Misty laid eyes on Glaceon, she fell in love with this Eeveelution, perhaps even more than Vaporeon, because Glaceon was truly gorgeous.
"That's right, it's an Ice-type. Normally, evolving into a Glaceon in the Kanto region would be very difficult, but for me, it's not a problem at all."
Hearing this, Misty asked, "Does Glaceon need special conditions to evolve?"
"Exactly. It needs to evolve near a specific type of rock. But I happen to have that rock, so you don't need to worry."
"I see."
Suzie looked at Sylveon and asked curiously, "Is this Sylveon a Fairy-type? It looks really pretty."
"It is indeed a Fairy-type, but it requires high affection and knowing a Fairy-type move to evolve... Actually, for you, it's not a problem at all. Just take good care of the Eevee, and I'll give it a TM to learn a move later. What about you, Lara?"
"Me? I personally like Glaceon, it looks really nice."
"Alright, then I have a pretty good idea of what everyone wants."
"Ash! I would like a Leafeon!"
"Here... this is the Leafeon brochure, take a look..."
After shaking off Brock's persistent begging, Ash turned to Misty, Suzie, and Lara. "Then I'll call Stone Town later and ask them to prepare a few newborn Eevees. Given my relationship with them, they can definitely fulfill this request. No, rather... they're probably dying for me to have an Eevee too..."
Thinking of the family in Stone Town, Ash sighed helplessly. After all, that family was truly something else—they were absolute Eevee fanatics.
