While Ash and the others were watching TV together, Ash's communicator rang. The one contacting him was none other than Karen.
"What do you need?"
"Ash, I have a Double Battle to fight on my end. Are you coming?"
"Double Battle, huh? Sure! It'll be a good chance for Poochyena and the guys to gain some experience. Wait!"
Saying that, Ash looked at Poochyena and Absol beside him and broke into a smile. That smile clearly meant he was about to cause trouble.
"I just thought of a great idea."
"Hm?"
And so, the 'Alpha Wolf'—a name that would stir up a storm among Dark-type trainers—was born. And the Alpha Wolf's strongest Dark-type Pokémon was an Absol, a Pokémon once known as the Disaster Pokémon, now vindicated as a hero. That Absol is me.
