Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: The Heaven War Begins

Location: Celestial Court – Hall of Thirteen Stars

Far above the mortal realms, beyond the clouds and starlit veils, floated the Celestial Court—a divine fortress carved into the spine of the heavens. It shimmered with god-light, and only beings with divine resonance could survive its pressure.

Today, for the first time in over a century, all thirteen thrones of the Council of Stars were occupied.

Each throne represented a Heavenly Law: Fate, Balance, Flame, Time, Death, Life, Wind, Beast, Earth, Water, Dream, Mind, and Judgement.

Seated at the central throne, draped in stardust robes, was the cold and ancient figure of Celestial Judge Tai Wuyuan.

> "A Key has awakened part of Tianren's soul… without dying," he declared.

"Qin Huaian. Mortal-born. Raised by the Qin. Now bearer of the Forbidden Ember."

The chamber stirred—some in outrage, some in awe.

⚖️ Debate of the Stars

The representative of Flame Law, an elder with golden skin and fire-laced eyes, slammed his staff.

> "It is unnatural! He has taken a power that should be sealed for eternity!"

But the Law of Time, a silver-haired youth with an hourglass pendant, leaned forward.

> "Or perhaps… fate is rewriting itself. Tianren's soul chose him."

The Law of Dream whispered:

> "He carries visions not meant for mortals… but dreams obey emotion. He is driven by loyalty, not greed."

Then the Law of Judgement rose.

> "He has defied our decree. Worse—he converted one of our assassins. Yun Shilan has betrayed the order."

> "This is rebellion."

The chamber fell silent.

Then Tai Wuyuan stood.

> "Let us vote."

---

⚖️ The Divine Vote: Judgment of Qin Huaian

Each Star Law cast a divine sigil—golden (for death), silver (for exile), or white (for observation).

Death – Flame, Judgement, Beast, Earth (4 votes)

Exile – Water, Mind, Balance (3 votes)

Observation – Time, Dream, Wind, Life, Fate, Death (6 votes)

By a margin of one, Qin Huaian was spared—for now.

Tai Wuyuan's voice echoed:

> "We shall observe the Key's path. But if he strays… the Thirteen will descend together."

The chamber faded into starlight.

🌌 Meanwhile: Song Yueru's Dilemma

Back on the edge of the Void Sea, Song Yueru trained fiercely within a sealed realm. Mu Yinyin sat cross-legged nearby, maintaining time barriers to shield them from detection.

Yueru's hands trembled as she meditated.

She could feel it—Huaian had changed.

His flame was not his alone anymore.

> "You're losing him," Yinyin said softly.

> "He's never been mine to own," Yueru replied. "But he is mine to protect."

Her eyes hardened.

> "If Heaven strikes… I'll strike first."

🌠 Back With Huaian – Preparing the Path

Now accompanied by Xiaoxiao, Wanyu, and the newly redeemed Yun Shilan, Huaian stood atop a cliff overlooking Skyveil Plains—the rumored resting place of the Eleventh Key, hidden among wandering tribes and ancient spirits.

> "Heaven will come again," Shilan warned.

"Next time, they won't send one assassin. They'll send a battalion."

> "Then we'll forge an army of our own," Huaian replied.

"We'll gather the remaining Keys. Learn Tianren's full legacy. And fight Heaven on our terms."

Xiaoxiao looked at him, her expression unreadable.

> "And if we lose?"

> "Then we burn with purpose."

He turned to them, flame swirling behind him.

> "Let's find the next Key."
