A triangle emitting a blue glow.
A blue triangle capable of supplying immense energy.
Although this thing didn't look as staggering as Dr. Otto's nuclear fusion, it was still breathtaking.
Dr. Otto had almost perfectly replicated the arc reactor on Tony's chest; I wonder if Tony would call it Osborn plagiarism again if he saw it.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Dr. Otto said.
"Indeed." Harry took the arc reactor from Dr. Otto's mechanical octopus arm.
"The arc reactor is very stable and efficient as an energy supply. It's incredible that such a small reactor can generate such high-power energy." Dr. Otto couldn't stop praising the little gadget.
"Is commercial use possible?" Harry asked the key question.
There are many factors to consider when determining if a new type of energy is suitable for commercial use; not all new energy sources are appropriate for it.
The most important consideration is whether it can make money.
Although Tony had cobbled together an arc reactor shortly after returning from Afghanistan, it wasn't until the eve of the Battle of New York that it was truly commercialized.
Dr. Otto indicated that it was possible, but not as wonderful as one might imagine.
"Although this element is extremely efficient for power supply, manufacturing it is very troublesome. If used for electricity, the cost might not be much better than the technology we use now. I'm not boasting."
This was also not impossible.
In the first Avengers, Tony connected this energy source to his Stark Tower. But it was limited to Stark Tower.
From subsequent conversations between Pepper and him, it seemed they were more focused on selling this energy to private users rather than cities.
Or perhaps they didn't have the capability for large-scale power supply at that time.
Besides, Harry estimated that he would be able to go to the moon to dig for dirt next year, so it would be better to adopt Dr. Otto's next-generation fusion technology.
"So, the best use for this thing is still..."
"Military use." Dr. Otto said this with a heavy tone. "Will you take it out for Military use? Harry?"
"Not now, Dr.," Harry shook his head. "And it has other uses, Dr. Broaden your horizons. For example, aviation. I'm going to bring someone new into the loop."
Harry operated the equipment in the laboratory, and a huge sky ship was projected out of thin air in front of the two.
Otto looked at Harry, then at the huge ship, and instantly understood what Harry wanted to do.
Osborn was starting to develop the sky.
Compared to using it for weapons, Dr. Otto expressed sincere appreciation for Harry's choice.
"Mr. Osborn? The ship's design is complete, and it should meet all your requirements." On the other end of the phone was Philip, an engineer at Osborn Aviation.
"Very good. Now, introduce your design to Dr. Otto here with me, and then tell him your requirements for the power supply unit," Harry said, sitting to the side.
"Dr. Otto? Are you that Doctor Octopus? It's a pleasure to meet you, Doctor! I'm Philip Bennett." Philip looked very happy, wishing he could crawl through the internet cable to shake Otto's hand.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Philip. Shall we begin?"
With the holographic projection equipment, communication between the two became extremely simple.
The huge ship was dismantled piece by piece, revealing the internal power supply lines.
"The most important part, the thrusters. The thrusters were designed by Mr. Osborn. I must say, this is something that is an era ahead of current aerospace technology."
Hearing Philip's words, Otto narrowed his eyes and looked at the thrusters over and over again, then looked at Harry:
"Ion thrusters?"
Harry nodded. The surprise on Dr. Otto's face made him feel very satisfied, thinking to himself that he was now also a master of engineering.
Although the outside World was not very clear about it, Dr. Otto knew that Osborn possessed the most advanced superconducting materials in the World.
"I understand. Let's continue."
As Philip dismantled and introduced it, Dr. Otto and Harry nodded repeatedly. This engineer, who had been poached from Hammer Industries, clearly had some skills, and many of his designs had unique insights.
Harry became more and more certain that this person was definitely not a nobody, he just couldn't recall who he was.
"Finally, the most important part is here, the energy compartment." Philip's explanation ended quickly.
The energy compartment was larger than Harry had imagined; it seemed Philip had left room for further modifications.
"Hmm, it's a bit too big, but that's a minor issue." Dr. Otto's opinion was similar to Harry's.
This sentence made Philip look forward to the day the ship would be fitted with energy and fly into the sky—it seemed that Dr. Otto's words were more convincing to him.
"Very well, let's stop here for today. Philip, complete the production of the first ship as soon as possible. Dr. Otto, the reactor's specifications and output lines still need your adjustments."
"Of course, it's my honor." Dr. Otto's four mechanical limbs clicked a few times.
"Mr. Osborn, one more thing," Philip suddenly said. "The ship's name, I haven't named it yet."
This engineer was quite sensible; Harry hadn't expected him to leave the naming rights to him.
"In that case, let's call it Handy-1."
Philip quickly recorded the ship's name in his notebook, but he was a little puzzled:
Judging by what Mr. Osborn meant, it seemed this kind of large ship was going to be mass-produced?
After finishing things here, Harry returned to his laboratory.
He had many talented people under him who could help him advance technology and company development, but he also had to work hard himself.
He wanted to complete the design of the construction robots for the engineering ship himself. Starting from scratch would be difficult, but with the system guiding him from the side, this was at most just learning.
These robots operating in outer space had two gimbal thrusters for flexible movement in space.
They had 6 flexible arms, which could perform various tasks such as carrying, assembling, and welding.
After mastering it, the design of this construction robot could be applied not only to the construction industry but also to industrial production. Harry immediately installed several intelligent mechanical arms in his laboratory.
These mechanical arms were very similar to the intelligent mechanical arms in Tony's laboratory, just not as intelligent.
Time passed quickly, and Harry spent a peaceful month.
Until he saw a news segment on TV:
"Rumors about a fierce battle between the Military and an unidentified enemy at Culver University are rampant. Two sophomore students witnessed the entire event."
"One of them is a school newspaper reporter who captured these images with his mobile phone."
"It was a huge thing, big and green, super strong," the interviewed student gestured continuously with his hands.
"Due to the thunderstorm in the national forest, the search operation for the mysterious giant Hulk has been delayed."
This meant the Hulk event was about to reach its climax.
It seemed General Ross hadn't thought of a way to inject those neural implants into the Hulk.
Or perhaps the neural implants were just as Harry had imagined—completely useless against the Hulk.
Just as Harry was still thinking, General Ross called.
"Harry, are you sure those neural implants of yours will be useful against the target I described?"
"Not sure. General, I haven't conducted any experiments on that target, so of course, it's impossible to be one hundred percent sure."
"And according to your description, the target's muscle density and skin hardness are terrifying. Do you really have a way to get the implants into the designated location? I've seen what happened at Culver University."
Harry took a sip of tea.
General Ross didn't answer the question directly, but just said: "Fine, it better be useful."
