Sol's figure flickered, and in the next instant, he appeared directly in front of Tatsumaki.
Tatsumaki instinctively tried to pull back, only for Sol to gently catch her wrist.
His grip was warm and firm.
Her body stiffened slightly as she looked up and met his deep dark red eyes.
"I made you worry," Sol said quietly, his usual detached tone softening slightly.
Tatsumaki opened her mouth, wanting to yell at him, question him, and demand answers about why he had hidden something so dangerous from everyone.
Yet none of those words came out.
In the end, all she managed was an irritated grunt.
"Idiot. If you pull something like that again, I seriously won't forgive you."
The threat lacked any real force. Beneath the irritation was lingering fear she had not fully shaken off yet.
Sol lightly squeezed her wrist.
"I'll keep that in mind."
A faint amused look flashed through his eyes before he released her hand.
He glanced toward Bang, Metal Bat, and Tanktop Master, giving them a casual nod.
Metal Bat clicked his tongue.
"Next time we drink, you're paying for ten rounds."
Tanktop Master remained serious.
"Sol, I hope the future you talked about can actually happen."
Sol shrugged slightly.
"Guess we'll find out."
After settling the battlefield situation temporarily, his figure blurred once more before vanishing from sight.
The next moment, he appeared inside the Hero Association Headquarters command center.
Muzan, Kokushibo, and Akaza immediately bowed.
"Lord Sol."
Psykos' voice echoed through Gyoro Gyoro.
"Lord Sol, all high ranking officials have been secured. The ones who resisted have been eliminated. Everyone on the list has been identified."
Inside the ruined command center, Sitch and several executives sat restrained by psychic force, their faces pale with fear.
Damaged equipment sparked around the room while unconscious guards lay scattered across the floor.
Sol looked at them indifferently, as though staring at a pile of worthless trash.
"Sitch," he said flatly, "your era ends here."
Sitch looked up in panic and anger.
"Sol! You're destroying the Hero Association! Humanity will never accept this!"
Sol's expression did not change.
"A rotten tree survives only after its dead branches are cut away. What you represented stopped being justice a long time ago."
Without another word, he raised his hand slightly.
An invisible force swept through the room.
The corrupt executives whose crimes had already been confirmed instantly lost the light in their eyes. Their life force disappeared cleanly, as though erased from existence.
The surviving officials trembled in terror.
Not a single person dared to speak.
Sol then looked toward the remaining personnel, along with Drive Knight and Child Emperor.
"The Hero Association will be rebuilt. Until then, maintain basic operations, stabilize the public, and prevent unnecessary panic."
"A new system will replace the old one soon enough."
His voice carried unquestionable authority.
Nobody challenged him.
After giving his orders, Sol glanced toward Muzan.
"Clean this place up. Seal unnecessary information for now and help stabilize headquarters."
"Yes, Lord Sol," Muzan replied respectfully.
Sol disappeared once again.
This time, he did not return to the battlefield.
Instead, he appeared atop a ruined wall overlooking City A.
His dark red eyes quietly observed the damaged city and the retreating Monster forces in the distance.
God's threat had been erased, but the world's problems remained far from over.
The Hero Association needed reconstruction.
The Monsters needed control and direction.
Society itself needed to change.
Still, Sol was not in a hurry.
The power he absorbed from God still required time to fully understand.
More importantly, he had returned alive.
A streak of green light flashed nearby.
Tatsumaki appeared a short distance away with her arms crossed tightly.
She deliberately avoided looking at him, though the slight redness on her ears completely betrayed her mood.
After a few seconds of silence, she finally spoke.
"That thing… it's really gone, right?"
Sol kept his eyes on the distant skyline.
"I devoured its true body. It won't be coming back."
Tatsumaki fell silent briefly before muttering under her breath.
"Monster."
It was impossible to tell whether she meant God or Sol.
Sol tilted his head slightly toward her.
"You scared?"
Tatsumaki immediately snapped.
"Who's scared?! Don't flatter yourself!"
She stumbled over her words before glaring at him again.
"If you ever go fight something like that alone again, I'll…"
Sol looked at her with faint amusement.
"You'll what?"
"I'll stop talking to you forever, idiot!"
Her cheeks puffed slightly while her green curls bounced irritably.
Sol stared at her rare childish reaction before the corner of his mouth lifted faintly.
"Sounds terrifying."
Tatsumaki shot him another glare, though it lacked any real hostility.
The orange glow of the setting sun slowly spread across the ruined city, painting the skyline in fading gold and crimson.
For now, the chaos had settled.
But everyone understood one thing clearly.
The world had changed completely.
And Sol Mirek stood at the center of that change.
The battlefield gradually grew quieter.
Smoke still drifted through the ruined industrial district while heroes worked alongside emergency crews to rescue survivors and clear debris.
Under Gouketsu and Black Sperm's leadership, the Monster forces retreated in an organized manner, either gathering outside the city or disappearing underground.
The fragile ceasefire held.
Tatsumaki stood beside Sol for a while before finally speaking again.
"So what now?"
Sol answered casually.
"We clean up the mess, rebuild the Association, and create a proper system."
"The old Hero Association was rotten. Monsters can't simply be exterminated forever either. Power without control only creates another disaster."
Tatsumaki snorted.
"Easy to say. Those old fossils had influence everywhere. Half the Association probably won't listen to you, and the public definitely won't trust Monsters overnight."
"I know," Sol replied. "That's why results matter more than words."
"When people see stability instead of chaos, they'll accept it eventually."
He finally turned toward her fully.
"So, Tatsumaki, you planning to help me build this new world?"
Tatsumaki immediately glared at him.
"Who said I'd help you? Don't decide things on your own."
She paused briefly before looking away again.
"…Though if certain idiots start causing trouble, I guess I could crush them for you."
A faint smile appeared in Sol's eyes.
That was probably the closest thing to support Tatsumaki would ever openly admit.
