"As you command, Ancestor/Lord Sol," Muzan and Psykos replied immediately.
The next second, chaos erupted inside the Hero Association Headquarters command center.
Muzan, who had been standing silently in the corner, revealed a crimson glow within his eyes. Beside him, Black Sperm and Akaza launched their attacks instantly.
Kokushibo's blade flashed like a frozen moonlight, slicing apart the command center's defensive barrier in a single strike. At the same time, Akaza's Destructive Death technique unleashed a violent shockwave that struck several armed security personnel with terrifying precision, knocking them unconscious before they could react.
Almost simultaneously, Psykos, operating remotely through Gyoro Gyoro, activated the Monster Cell infected personnel and the hidden mechanical guards scattered throughout headquarters. Working from both inside and outside, they swiftly seized every major entrance, exit, and critical passage connected to the command center.
"Muzan! What are you doing?!" Sitch shouted in shock while retreating several steps.
Muzan calmly adjusted the wrinkles on his suit, his crimson eyes carrying a cold smile.
"Under Lord Sol's orders, we are cleansing the Association's corruption. Director Sitch, I advise everyone to cooperate."
"This is treason!" one executive roared.
Akaza appeared before him instantly and punched him into the wall hard enough to knock him unconscious.
"We never swore loyalty to you," Muzan replied softly. "So how could this be betrayal?"
His gaze swept across the remaining executives, all of whom had gone silent in fear.
"As long as you stop resisting, your lives will be spared for now."
The sudden takeover of headquarters quickly spread to the battlefield through the still functioning communication systems, causing the heroes' expressions to change immediately.
"Headquarters has been attacked!"
"It's Muzan and the Monsters!"
"They've taken over the command center!"
Bang, Atomic Samurai, and the others instantly prepared for battle again, their eyes locked onto Sol and the Monster cadres as the atmosphere became tense once more.
Sol, however, paid no attention to the chaos behind him.
His gaze moved across Bang, Tatsumaki, Metal Bat, Tanktop Master, and the other heroes as he spoke calmly, his voice echoing across the battlefield.
"God is the true enemy. It feeds on civilization and seeks to force everything into absolute order."
"Several executives within the Hero Association were corrupted long ago. They became slaves to greed and even collaborated with disaster level threats in secret. Removing them was necessary."
He paused briefly before continuing.
"I never intended to wipe out humanity or become the enemy of every hero. The Monster Association is under my control now. They will no longer attack humans without reason. Humanity's true enemy was never each other."
His calm voice carried an overwhelming sense of certainty.
After witnessing his battle against God and seeing him return completely unharmed, many heroes found themselves wavering.
"You claim the executives are corrupt," Bang said seriously. "What proof do you have?"
Sol casually flicked a data storage device toward him.
Bang caught it cleanly.
"Everything is inside. Arms deals, hidden incidents, illegal experiments tied to Monster outbreaks, all of it. Drive Knight and Child Emperor can verify it themselves."
Drive Knight immediately connected the device to his system. A few moments later, his mechanical eyes flickered.
"Verification complete. The encryption matches the Hero Association's highest security level. The contents are authentic. Several transaction logs and experiment records correspond with sealed incidents."
Child Emperor nodded nervously.
"He's telling the truth. I already knew Sol had infiltrated the Monster Association before this."
Several heroes fell silent.
Many of them were aware the Hero Association had its darker side, but they never expected corruption on this scale.
Metal Bat rested his broken bat on his shoulder and frowned.
"Sol, even if those geezers are scum, this is still pretty extreme."
Tanktop Master crossed his arms.
"We need proper answers. And we need guarantees."
Sol looked at them casually before his gaze landed on Tatsumaki.
She stared directly at him, her emerald eyes filled with frustration, concern, and a faint sense of relief she clearly did not want anyone noticing.
"The answers are already in front of you," Sol replied. "As for guarantees, I'll keep every Monster under control. Anyone willing to trust me can stay. Anyone who wants to stop me is free to try."
His tone remained relaxed, almost playful, yet the confidence behind his words was impossible to ignore.
Silence spread across the battlefield.
The heroes exchanged uncertain glances.
After experiencing God's overwhelming presence and discovering the corruption inside the Hero Association, their convictions had been shaken badly.
Combined with Sol's terrifying strength, very few still had the will to fight.
Atomic Samurai clicked his tongue before slowly sheathing his Nichirin blade.
"Tch, what a pain. Still, compared to those bastards running headquarters, you're somehow easier to tolerate."
More importantly, he had no interest in watching his sword get shattered again.
Flashy Flash remained silent, though his stance visibly relaxed.
Superalloy Darkshine scratched the back of his head awkwardly.
"If the Monsters really stop attacking people, then maybe this isn't actually a bad thing…"
Child Emperor quietly stared at the evidence still scrolling across Drive Knight's display, his face tense.
Eventually, Bang let out a long sigh and lowered his stance completely.
"This old man still needs time to process all of this. But right now, I see neither a reason nor a chance of victory in continuing this fight."
Tatsumaki snorted and looked away.
Still, the psychic energy surrounding her disappeared entirely, signaling a temporary truce.
Even so, her eyes secretly drifted back toward Sol.
Seeing him standing there safely annoyed her far more than it should have.
Saitama glanced around lazily before rubbing his bald head.
"So… we're not fighting anymore? Can I go home now? I'm hungry."
Genos immediately responded.
"Sensei, the situation has not fully stabilized yet. Please remain cautious."
Sol smirked slightly, clearly amused.
Seeing that most of the heroes had abandoned the idea of fighting, he turned toward the Monster cadres.
"All Monsters, cease hostilities immediately and stand by."
"Gouketsu, Black Sperm, organize the troops."
"Elder Centipede, move underground and await further orders."
"Yes, Lord Sol!" the cadres answered in unison.
Without hesitation, they immediately began carrying out his commands.
Although the Monster army was visibly restless, the cadres quickly suppressed any hostility and ordered the troops to retreat and regroup.
At last, the suffocating tension across the battlefield finally began to fade.
The distrust and uncertainty remained, but for now, the war had come to a halt.
