Chapter 243 - 243: Leaving the New Order

Just then, two figures shot up from below and landed lightly on a nearby shattered wall. It was Metal Bat and Tanktop Master.

"Yo, Sol!" Metal Bat rested his half-destroyed bat on his shoulder. Even with his messy appearance, he still wore that familiar cocky grin. "Looks like you wrapped things up, huh? Seriously, you caused one hell of a mess."

Tanktop Master appeared much more composed. He studied Sol carefully, his expression serious but free of hostility.

"Sol, we expect to see actual results from the promise you made."

"If monsters can truly stop attacking humans without reason, then this will become an unprecedented turning point."

"I'll make it happen." Sol looked at the two heroes, his tone easing slightly. "The Association needs manpower to stabilize the situation, and the reconstruction efforts also need heroes with enough reputation and strength to keep people calm. For now, I'll need both of you to work a little harder."

"Don't worry about it!" Metal Bat slammed a fist against his chest. "Cleaning up disasters is what heroes do best. But later, you're buying us food as an apology. You scared the hell out of everyone."

Tanktop Master nodded as well.

"Maintaining peace is a hero's responsibility. Until this new order fully settles, we'll do everything we can to preserve stability."

After exchanging a few more words, the two heroes jumped back into the ruined city below to continue helping with recovery efforts.

For now, they chose to trust Sol while keeping watch over the situation. It was the most practical decision they could make after witnessing both his character and the overwhelming difference in power.

Sol withdrew his gaze before turning toward Tatsumaki.

"You should help out too. I need some time to deal with a few things."

Tatsumaki crossed her arms and puffed her cheeks slightly.

"Yeah, yeah, stop acting like you can order me around."

A green glow surrounded her body as she rose into the air before flying toward the command center.

She planned to make sure the controlled executives stayed obedient, while also checking whether any idiots were trying to stir up trouble.

Once Tatsumaki left, Sol slowly closed his eyes.

His consciousness sank inward as he began sorting through everything he had gained from devouring God's Avatar.

Absorbing both the Avatar and part of its primordial power had brought him far more than raw strength. Along with the immense energy came an enormous amount of knowledge regarding the laws of the universe and the flow of energy itself.

The information was unbelievably complicated. Even with his enhanced brain and absurd learning ability, fully digesting it would take time.

For now, he had only managed to stabilize his current condition. True integration and further evolution would require steady refinement in the future.

At the same time, he could feel another subtle change within his body.

After enduring destruction, pressure, and rebirth, his body seemed to have reached the edge of another breakthrough, as if one final trigger was enough to push him into an entirely different realm of existence.

Still, that kind of advancement could not happen overnight.

After a long silence, Sol opened his eyes again. The faint shimmer hidden within them gradually faded away.

With a single thought, the familiar translucent blue panel appeared before him.

"One Punch Man Main Storyline Completed."

"Permissions Unlocked: Free Main World Travel. Current Anchored World: One Punch Man."

"Next Main World Available: Jujutsu Kaisen."

"Switch immediately? Note: Previously unlocked worlds may be revisited at any time."

The information remained simple and direct.

Sol understood what it meant.

In this world, he had already reached the peak. The main conflict had been resolved, and what remained was the long process of rebuilding, integration, and maintaining balance.

Meanwhile, an entirely new world awaited him.

New opponents.

New opportunities.

New nourishment.

Still, he did not choose to leave immediately.

There were too many things that still needed to be arranged in the world whose fate he had personally rewritten.

Through his mental connection, Sol sent detailed instructions to Muzan Kibutsuji and Psykos.

They were ordered to stabilize the Association headquarters, gradually release evidence to calm public fear, cooperate with Bang and the other heroes to maintain order, restrain all monsters from causing chaos, and begin selecting capable individuals inside the Association for the coming reorganization.

Muzan and Psykos accepted the orders without hesitation. At a time like this, their efficiency and ruthlessness were exactly what the world needed.

Once everything had been settled, Sol casually took a step.

His figure vanished instantly.

The next moment, he appeared beside Saitama and Genos.

Saitama was lifting a massive slab of concrete to rescue trapped civilians, while Genos carefully sliced apart twisted steel beams with his Incineration Cannons nearby.

"Saitama, Genos."

Saitama looked up before brushing dust off his hands.

"Oh, Sol, everything done already?"

Genos immediately stopped moving and turned respectfully.

"Sol-senpai!"

"It's settled for now." Sol glanced at Saitama. "I'll be leaving for a while."

Saitama blinked.

"Leaving? Where to? Far away?"

He sounded more curious than surprised.

"A place I need to visit." Sol gave a vague answer. "While I'm gone, I'll leave things here to you two and Bang. Also, keep an eye on the monsters occasionally. Don't let them get too comfortable."

Saitama scratched his head lazily.

"Even though I don't really get it, don't worry about it. It's not like I'm busy anyway."

He accepted the decision almost immediately, treating it like a friend casually announcing a trip somewhere.

Genos, however, responded with complete seriousness.

"Please rest assured, Sol-senpai. Protecting world peace is my duty. I will fully assist Bang and the other heroes while carefully monitoring all monster activity."

Sol nodded.

Among everyone in this world, these two were the people he trusted most.

Without saying anything else, his body blurred and disappeared once again.

The last person he went to see was Bang.

The old martial artist stood near a temporary medical station, directing rescue workers and helping the injured. Fatigue covered his face, but his composure remained firm.

"Bang."

Bang paused before slowly turning around. His aged but sharp eyes met Sol's calmly.

"You're leaving?"

"Yes. There are some personal matters I need to handle, so I'll be gone for a while." Sol spoke evenly. "As for the Association and the new order afterward, I'll have to trouble you, Atomic Samurai, Flashy Flash, and the others to keep things stable. Muzan and Psykos will cooperate with you. They're under my control."

Bang stared at him for several moments, as though trying to see through him completely.

Eventually, the old master let out a long sigh while stroking his beard.

"I've lived a long life, and I trust my judgment when it comes to people. Your power may seem almost demonic, but your heart hasn't completely drifted away from humanity."

"The order you seek isn't something I fully agree with, but I'm willing to see how far you can take it."

His voice lowered slightly.

"Come back soon. This world can't endure any more chaos. It needs someone powerful enough to keep everything stable."

A faint smile appeared on Bang's face.

"And Tatsumaki may never admit it out loud, but that girl genuinely cares about you."

"I know." Sol nodded lightly. "I'll return."

After giving Bang a final nod, Sol's figure faded into the air before disappearing completely.

Bang remained standing there silently, staring at the place where Sol had vanished.

After a long while, he slowly exhaled and returned to directing the rescue operation.

He understood it clearly.

An entirely new era had begun.

Once every necessary arrangement had been completed, Sol appeared alone atop a deserted ruin.

The cold wind swept across the destroyed city beneath him.

With an amused smile on his face, he summoned the blue panel once more.
