"A long time ago, there was a genius scientist," Armored Gorilla began in a low, dramatic tone.
"He contributed greatly to society with his extraordinary intellect. People praised his mind, yet no one supported his vision."
His metallic arms tightened unconsciously.
"So he founded the House of Evolution, and…"
"Get to the point," Sol Mirek interrupted flatly.
Genos immediately raised his arm. The Incineration Cannon charged, golden light gathering at the muzzle. "He told you to summarize."
Sol's eyes flashed green. The air around them warped faintly under rising Psychokinesis. "Twenty words or less."
Armored Gorilla stiffened, cold sweat sliding down his face. "Understood."
He cleared his throat awkwardly. "Our leader is interested in your bodies."
Sol blinked once. "I'm not interested in men."
"Same," Saitama said as he walked down the stairs, grocery flyer still in hand.
Genos sighed internally. "He means biological research. They want to use your bodies for evolutionary experimentation."
He stepped forward, voice firm. "We should eliminate the House of Evolution. If left alone, they will continue creating threats."
"Alright," Sol and Saitama said at the same time.
"Ask him for the address. Let's go."
They began walking away casually.
Genos hesitated. "Now? Without a plan?"
"I have training tomorrow," Sol replied lazily.
"Big supermarket sale tomorrow," Saitama added.
They waved without looking back.
Armored Gorilla quickly opened a small communicator hidden in his head. "I must warn Dr. Genus."
Before he could transmit anything, Genos appeared in front of him.
The sudden proximity made the gorilla flinch.
"Has the House of Evolution been developing cyborgs for more than four years?" Genos asked coldly, the glowing cannon pressed against Armored Gorilla's forehead. "How many combat models exist? Have you destroyed any cities?"
"I am the only combat cyborg," Armored Gorilla said hurriedly. "I do not know of any city destruction."
Genos studied him carefully. Disappointment flickered through his eyes. It seemed the House of Evolution was unrelated to the mad cyborg he sought.
He lowered his arm and demanded the address.
Deep within the mountains stood the Evolution House Base, a massive rectangular structure camouflaged against the terrain.
Underground, in a sterile laboratory filled with identical faces, Dr. Genus and his clones stared at a glowing green monitor.
Only Armored Gorilla's life signal remained active.
"The elite extermination unit has been completely annihilated," Dr. Genus said through clenched teeth.
The screen shifted to show Sol, Saitama, and Genos moving toward the mountains.
"They are coming," one numbered clone reported.
"If they reach us, everything we built could vanish instantly."
The laboratory filled with tense murmurs.
Dr. Genus trembled. "It seems I must use our final measure."
The clones stiffened.
"Prepare to release Asura Kabuto."
Shock spread through the room.
"You cannot."
"That is too dangerous."
"It is our only option."
Dr. Genus's eyes were bloodshot. Sweat dripped from his forehead onto the floor.
"First, activate every trap on floors one through eight. If they fail…" He exhaled slowly. "Then fate will decide the rest."
Outside, the trio advanced through the forest.
Genos sprinted ahead in a streamlined motion.
"I did not expect we would run," he admitted.
"How else?" Saitama replied easily while keeping pace.
"I assumed you would fly."
"People do not fly," Saitama said plainly.
Genos glanced sideways.
Sol was floating horizontally in midair, hands behind his head, drifting forward with relaxed ease.
Psychokinesis supported him effortlessly.
Genos paused mid-stride. "…Senior's ability is extremely practical."
Sol yawned. "It saves energy. Also, walking is boring."
They crossed the final ridge and spotted the Evolution House Base concealed within the mountains.
"We've arrived," Genos said, staring at the camouflaged structure.
Saitama counted the floors aloud. "One, two, three… eight floors."
Genos's arm shifted again, golden energy building for a direct blast.
Sol casually placed a hand on his shoulder. "Hold on."
Genos stopped charging. "Senior?"
Saitama nodded seriously. "They worked hard setting up defenses. It would be rude not to see them."
Genos froze.
Understanding dawned in his mechanical eyes.
"Teacher… you mean that even overwhelming power must show respect to the opponent's preparation. By allowing them to use their full capability, we honor battle itself."
He pulled out a small notebook and began writing rapidly.
Saitama scratched his head. "I just thought it would be interesting."
As the two continued their discussion, a faint green aura surrounded Sol.
His hair shifted gently though no wind blew.
His eyes glowed bright green.
He stared at the towering structure ahead with quiet amusement.
"Alright," Sol murmured. "Let's see what they prepared for us."
