The battlefield of Emerald Valley was filled with chaos.
Swords clashed, magic exploded, and the cries of soldiers echoed through the cold night air. Flames from burning torches mixed with the dark smoke rising from destroyed ground, creating a terrifying scene of war.
At the center of the battlefield stood Arin and General Kharos.
Their swords were locked together, green emerald energy fighting against dark shadow power. The ground beneath their feet cracked as both warriors pushed against each other with incredible strength.
Kharos smiled coldly.
"You have improved, Guardian."
Arin gritted his teeth and pushed harder.
"I will stop you here."
With a powerful burst of emerald energy, Arin forced Kharos backward.
BOOM!
Kharos slid across the ground but quickly regained his balance.
"Interesting," Kharos said calmly. "Your Guardian Mode is stronger than I expected."
Arin raised his sword again, green lightning surrounding his body.
"I will protect Emerald Valley no matter what."
Without warning, he rushed forward at incredible speed.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
Their swords collided repeatedly, creating powerful shockwaves that pushed nearby soldiers away. Every strike from Arin was filled with emerald energy, while every strike from Kharos carried dark and destructive force.
Mira watched from a distance while fighting shadow soldiers.
"Arin is pushing himself too much," she said worriedly.
The traveler stood beside the Master Emerald, using his staff to maintain the barrier.
"He knows this battle will decide the future of the valley," the traveler replied.
Back on the battlefield, Kharos suddenly jumped back and raised his sword.
"Let me show you real power."
Dark energy gathered around him, forming a massive shadow aura.
The sky above him became darker, and the air grew cold.
"Shadow General Form," Kharos said.
His armor changed, becoming larger and more dangerous. Dark wings appeared on his back, and his sword grew longer, covered in shadow flames.
Mira gasped.
"He's transforming!"
The traveler's expression became serious.
"This is bad. That is his true power."
Kharos looked at Arin with glowing red eyes.
"Now, Guardian… survive this."
In a flash, he disappeared.
Arin's eyes widened.
"Where did he—"
BOOM!
Kharos appeared behind him and struck him with a powerful slash.
Arin crashed into the ground and rolled across the battlefield.
"Arin!" Mira shouted.
Arin slowly stood up, breathing heavily.
"He's much faster now…"
Kharos appeared again and attacked.
CLANG!
Arin barely blocked the attack, but the force pushed him backward.
Kharos kicked him hard.
BOOOM!
Arin flew into a broken wall and fell to the ground.
Dust filled the air.
Kharos walked slowly toward him.
"This is the difference between us," he said calmly.
Arin struggled to stand.
"I'm not done yet…"
Kharos raised his sword.
"Then fall."
He swung his sword and released a massive wave of dark energy.
Mira ran forward.
"Light Shield!"
A glowing shield blocked the attack, but it shattered instantly.
The traveler stepped forward and raised his staff.
"Emerald Protection!"
The Master Emerald released green energy and blocked the rest of the attack.
Arin slowly stood again.
His body was injured, and his breathing was heavy.
But his eyes were still determined.
"I cannot lose…"
The Master Emerald began to glow brighter.
Green light surrounded Arin's body.
The traveler looked surprised.
"The emerald is responding to his will."
Mira smiled slightly.
"Arin…"
Kharos watched quietly.
"So you still have power left."
Arin closed his eyes and focused.
The emerald energy grew stronger and stronger.
Wind began to blow across the battlefield.
The shadow soldiers stepped back in fear.
Arin opened his eyes.
They were glowing bright green.
"Guardian Spirit Mode."
A powerful emerald aura exploded around him.

The ground shook, and the air vibrated with energy.
Kharos smiled.
"Now this is interesting."
Arin rushed forward with incredible speed.

Their swords collided again, but this time Kharos was pushed back.

Kharos slid across the ground.
"Your power has increased again," Kharos said.
Arin attacked again with fast and powerful strikes.

Kharos blocked several attacks but struggled slightly.
Arin jumped into the air and released a powerful attack.
"Emerald Guardian Slash!"
A massive green wave shot toward Kharos.

Kharos blocked it, but the force pushed him back several meters.
Smoke filled the battlefield.
Kharos stepped forward again.
"You are stronger… but not strong enough."
He raised his sword and dark energy gathered around it.
"Shadow Destruction Wave."
A massive dark beam shot toward Arin.
Arin raised his sword.
"Emerald Shield!"
The green shield blocked the attack, but cracks appeared.
The power was too strong.

The shield shattered, and Arin was thrown backward again.
He fell to the ground, breathing heavily.
Kharos walked toward him slowly.
"You fought well, Guardian."
Arin tried to stand but struggled.
"This is the end."
Kharos raised his sword for the final strike.
Mira shouted, "ARIN!"
The traveler tightened his grip on his staff.
But suddenly…
The Master Emerald shined brighter than ever before.
A powerful green light shot into the sky.
Kharos stopped.
"What is this?"
The ground began to shake.
Wind blew strongly across the battlefield.
Arin slowly lifted his head.
The emerald energy surrounded him again.
Something new was about to awaken.
Kharos stepped back slightly.
"So… the Master Emerald is choosing you."
Arin slowly stood.
Green light covered his entire body.
The war was far from over.
