Finn stiffened.
What the hell is wrong with him? he thought, his heartbeat quickening. Why is he suddenly so serious?
Swallowing hard, he reached out and gently pushed Orion back, creating some distance between them.
"Enough of the nonsense, okay, King?" Finn said, a light chuckle escaping his lips. "You should showcase that kind of power to your other consorts....not me."
He paused for a moment, his expression softening as something more sincere crept into his tone.
"Anyway… I knew it was you who defeated that stone monster. You see… I actually thought I was going to die. I had already run out of strength, so yeah I thought that was the end." He let out a small breath, shaking his head faintly. "Not until I saw that sudden gush of power… and just like that, the monster was gone."
Finn glanced at Orion, a curious smile tugging at his lips.
