The moon hung high in the sky, casting a soft silver glow over the palace grounds. The stars shimmered brightly, scattered like diamonds across the dark expanse above.
Inside his chamber, Finn had long since run out of things to do.
He had spent the entire day indoors, doing absolutely nothing, and now he was pacing back and forth restlessly, his footsteps echoing faintly against the polished floor.
"Fuck… if only there were phones in this place," Finn muttered under his breath, dragging a hand through his hair in frustration. "I'm so bored I might actually lose my mind."
His face twisted into a mix of irritation and exhaustion.
Just what is that bastard Orion even doing right now? Finn wondered inwardly, narrowing his eyes slightly. Didn't he say something about hosting a ball? So why hasn't anything happened yet?
He clicked his tongue.
Or did he change his mind?
Finn folded his arms, frowning.
