King Simon and his army camped around the fortress.It was evening,when one Ottoman soldier sneaked out and the Persian soldier rushed towards Simon's tent.The guards halted him.
-What's the matter?Is there anything urgent that king must be aware of?
-Yes,extremely urgent!I'm imploring you,announce me at once!
One of Simon's Georgian warden entered inside the tent and bent down in front of the king's bed.Then,he told Simon loudly:
-Your majesty!There is an urgent matter you need to solve!
Simon got up and looked at his guard:
-What's going on?
-There is a Persian soldier who wants to report an urgent issue.
-Where precisely is he right now?
-He is outside your tent.Shall I make him enter?
-Of course!
-As you command me,your majesty!
The warden went out and in a few minutes he returned with the Persian soldier.
-Bent down immediately!-The guard strictly told him.
The soldier was in awe of Simon's gaze and he knelt at once.He was looking at the floor instead of Simon.The king didn't miss this gesture and asked him:
-Am I genuinely this spooky?Why are you not looking at me?Didn't you come here to report meaningful matter to me?
-Yes,that's correct!I came exactly to report some information to you,however this very matter is quite difficult to say...I am afraid,that if I tell you this,you will surely kill me on the spot!This is why,I can't dare to look at you!
-Tell me,I insist on you to tell me!
-Well...As you ordered,I was at one of the outside walls of Tbilisi stronghold.My horse was nearby and I turned around for a few minutes.What I missed,occurred right behind my back.One janissary jumped down from that wall,then got on my horse and rode it outrageously.I only noticed him when he had already left the siege behind.I am truly sorry,I deserve to be punished!I failed terribly!
-I am not going to punish you.Instead,I will give you the new task.You will atone for your mistake only by accomplishing this very mission.You must get on the horse and follow that Ottoman janissary.Two of my wardens will come along with you with their horses.This mission may take months,although you must find out what Lala Kara Mustafa pasha is going to do.In other words,you and my wardens will be both my spies and messengers.Now,leave the tent and eat something with my two wardens.You can also take food along.After having breakfast,you will immediately go towards Erzurum.

The warden made him go out.This very guard was replaced by another Georgian the moment he made the Persian soldier enter inside the tent.So,after coming out,the original guard and the warden that was standing on the left went together to the tent full of food.They entered and started eating.They only packed 60 Churchkhelas in their bags,got on their horses and headed towards Erzurum.
