'Meow? What is that?'
Man-man isn't sure what those words really mean. He didn't question her appearance at first. Those extra plastic ears won't be protecting her from any type of damage.
Either she is really bad at equipping armor. Or she doesn't know that something is stuck on her head. Should he tell her about it?
'Too much bother.'
He doesn't really have time for pointless things. Skin would be murdering Chosen left, right and center. But he needs those Chosen when mountainous soul be coming.
More the merrier as they say.
More Chosen will make it faster for them to kill it and be done with it. Then he can search for the temple or whatever structure that is buried deep inside of that sinned soul.
He needs to hurry. But why is he here all alone?
"Meow? What help?"
Re-purr speaks timidly. She is cautious but curious about what he wants from her. Perhaps, she never heard that 'Curiosity kills the cat'. But she is a cat so maybe she is doing what an actual cat would do.
Man-man answers.
"Just help me push this thing into that wall."
She observes that weird sword of his and he is pointing it towards that fleshy wall. Does he want to push it deep inside that? But why does he want to do that?
Re-purr fails to see his reasoning behind it.
"Okay. Meow. I can…help, I guess."
She follows Man-man towards the fleshy wall. The wall looks like any other wall of this blood valley. Everywhere she looks there is fleshy ground and fleshy things everywhere.
But strangely enough, it doesn't act like real flesh. It has no life within itself and it mostly act as a non-living thing.
Re-purr prefer the barren landscape more. It is at least not this gross looking and difficult to walk on.
They reach the wall and without wasting any time he shoves his sword in the wall. But it doesn't go much deeper. Re-purr notices that he handles sword with precision and technique but he lacks strength.
She wouldn't say that she is very strong but she is sure that she can break a boulder with her flail. Only if the boulder is stationary. She isn't good at using flails. She just made it because she thought it would look cute for a cat to wield a weapon like that.
"Soooo? I just have to push this sword with you, Meow?"
Man-man nods.
The sword seemed to re-shape its handle to make it so that both of them can hold it together. Is this his blessing? This makes her pretty jealous of him again.
'If I had a blessing like that. Making cat themed toys would be so easy. This isn't fair. I need this blessing much more than him.'
Re-purr grabs the long hilt of the sword and Man-man grabs the rest of it. Both push it together with both of their strength and they manage to it push it deep inside the fleshy wall.
It really takes a lot out of her. She didn't except the wall to be this tough.
She takes a breather while Man-man observes their progress. He doesn't seem to be exhausted after doing that at all.
'At least show some expression on that face of yours. I won't judge your dumb face.'
Re-purr pouts a little and Man-man touches the sword's hilt again. He seemed to use his blessing or something. But what did he do?
'What does he want to do?'
Re-purr seemed to be very confused by his actions. Observing him doesn't tell her anything. He is very mysterious.
"Now grab it again. We will be moving forward while slicing the whole wall apart. Don't slow down."
Re-purr sighs and then answers.
"Roger Meow Meow."
Both of the them grab the hilt again and uses their full power. Now it is even harder to move the sword. It is like the sword has gone even deeper than its actual length into the wall.
But Re-purr is a Chosen and Chosen are stronger than human. With both of them combined, they are able to cut a deep wound on the wall.
It is so tiring that she forgets to see or hear the world around her. But Man-man wakes her up and speaks.
"By the way, get ready to sprint out of the way of the boiling blood river."
Re-purr answers with confusion.
"Meow? What do you mean by blood- WHAT?"
She looks behind her and the deep wound they have cut into the wall is releasing a massive amount of blood out of it. But why is this happening.
Then it clicks in her head. This isn't just a fleshy wall. It is a vein that is carrying the blood of the blood valley. She didn't even know this place has actual veins to carry blood around.
Now, the boiling blood is flowing out of the wound and is coming towards them.
"What the fuck is this flood of Blood? Why the hell did you made me do this? You idiot."
Man-man runs without answering her questions. He has removed the sword from it already. Half of its mass has been lost in the wall but that isn't a problem for him.
Right beside him, Re-purr throws weird slurs at him. He doesn't really care what she says. He got what he wanted from her. He wanted to release the boiling blood on this land and he has done that.
"Why would you deceive an innocent little cat? You are a horrible person. Have some respect for cats. Don't you know cats are sacred creatures? So, respect me too because I am a cat. Are you hearing what I am even saying. You- MEOW? What now?"
The ground under her feet shakes and it is a familiar feeling. It is just like Mountainous soul.
"No way. You mean to say that this sinned soul was under out feet the entire time?"
Blood valley is a filled with river or lakes of boiling blood. Sinned souls Chosen would die from the heat if they fall inside. It is like lave but even worse as it is cursed blood of hell. Even sinned soul avoids it.
It is obvious for Man-man to think that if mountainous soul has come here to hide. Then it won't go deep into the valley. It will be staying outside the valley and devour other sinned soul away from the blood.
Only problem was that he didn't know how to wake it up. Or how to find it as the outer rims of the valley is still quite big.
Lucky or unlucky, it is right under his feet.
If it wasn't right under his feet. He was planning on cutting even more fleshing veins to release blood all over the world.
He has been scheming this from the day he heard about the location from Nem. Sinned souls might be different but in blood valley they're also in danger cause of the cursed blood.
Man-man has just taken advantage of the environment and uncover this sinned soul out of the ground.
"WHY ME? Why am I so unlucky. This misfortune just won't leave me. I hate this place. I hate you and I hate everything. Why does it have to happen to me?"
Man-man is calm but Re-purr isn't. She is screaming and cursing her life and bad luck. She also hates how gullible she is to listen to this Chosen without question.
"I hope you experience the worst death, you weird but cool eyes guy."
Man-man wonders if she is talking about him. But it couldn't be him. He isn't weird and he is sure of that.

Skin pierces the chest of a Chosen with one strike and then she lifts her up into the air. Then she puts Dicky on her shoulder with the Chosen still stuck to the polearm.
The blessing of this one Chosen was quite an annoying one. She could make weapons out of the ground she stands on. So, she kept her distance from Skin and threw spear at every Chosen. Each weapon created by that Chosen was deadly as it is made of the fleshy ground of Blood valley so getting pierced by it would be surely hurt a lot.
It was the same tactic again and again. She had nothing new to offer for the fight. She had been a nuisance. But Skin finally got the upper hand on her and now she is up in the air on Dicky.
"How does it feel to be on my Dicky? Lol. Oh wait, you died. That suck. Nobody heard my joke."
What a shame.
She throws the chosen on the ground cause the corpse is starting to turn into a sinned soul. That means round two is starting.
She wants more violence. Violence more than ever before. She will kill each and every Chosen here and then-
"Huh? Ground is shaking?"
Skin notices the ground shaking a little. That has never happened before. She has never experienced shaking of ground ever in her life. Why is it happening now? Is blood valley famous for its shaking of the ground day or something?
However, she has experienced shaking of ground before. It is familiar.
"The mountainous soul…"
She finally remembers what she came here for. She totally forgot that she is supposed to kill the mountainous soul.
"Whatever. Until I find the mountainous soul. I'll just keep killing Chosen and kill time that way. Also where is Man-man? I swear I saw him behind me or something just thirty minutes ago. What is he up to?"
She watches the Chosen scatter around each other and fight like wild animals. It is quite tempting to go there and fight like a wild animal as well.
"Why fight the temptation? Let's just go and kill. But before that, I'll deal with you."
Sinned soul of the annoying Chosen wakes up and attacks her. While Skin is fighting sinned souls and Chosen for the sake of violence. On the other side, Man-man and Re-purr is running away from the boiling blood and mountainous soul can waking up. The world under Chosen's feet is shaking like before.
