Grace's POV
Grace was in the library when Sarah found her.
It wasn't a coincidence. Nothing was coincidence anymore. Sarah had probably been tracking her movements, waiting for a moment when they could talk without being seen. Grace understood that now. She understood that Sarah had been studying her for much longer than the coffee shop blackmail suggested.
"We need to talk," Sarah said. She was holding a glass of wine she wasn't drinking. Performing relaxation.
Grace set down her book. "Okay."
Sarah sat across from her in a chair that faced the door. Not because she wanted to see who came in. Because she wanted to control the exit.
"I know you're working with Marcus," Sarah said simply.
Grace felt her entire body go still. She'd been careful. So careful. But apparently not careful enough.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Grace said.
