Marcus's POV
Marcus had been waiting for the right moment to tell her. The moment where she was strong enough to hear it but before it became too late to act on what she learned.
Grace sitting in his office with his hand in hers felt like maybe this was that moment.
He closed the door and locked it. Then he turned off the security cameras using a device that scrambled their signal for exactly ten minutes. Ten minutes to tell her something that would break her world.
"Sit down," he said quietly.
Grace sat. She was still holding his hand and Marcus understood that she was going to need it in the next few minutes.
"Sarah Chen isn't just a spy," Marcus said. "She's working for the Castellano family and probably for federal investigators too. She's been planted inside our organization to gather intelligence and accelerate its collapse. Everything she's done, every move she's made, has been orchestrated to weaken us from inside."
