Landon Hawthorne searched through a lot of information but couldn't find a single thing about "Jing Lan."
Even when he searched for "the Jun Lins," all he found was a bunch of nonsense.
It felt like the name was completely made up.
And yet, he had so clearly felt Jing Lan's presence that day.
The more this went on, the more unknown everything was, and the more hopeless the future seemed.
Aria Sterling comforted him. "Those events happened thousands and thousands of years ago. It's normal that you can't find any information now. Even if you could, it would only be recorded in the texts of some ancient sect of the Mystic Order. You're an ordinary person; you have no way of accessing that kind of information. Don't waste your time like this."
"I know." Landon Hawthorne nodded. "I just feel like I should be doing something."
Otherwise, just waiting around helplessly, unable to do anything, was too frustrating.
