Aria Sterling was about to take Landon Hawthorne away.
But Frederick Lewis suddenly jumped up, rushing over to block Aria Sterling's path.
"Miss Sterling, please, you have to save—"
Frederick Lewis had barely started speaking when Aria Sterling cut him off. "I won't."
"Miss Sterling, to save a life is a virtue—"
"The last person who said that to me was Iris Jennings," Aria Sterling said coolly. "And I didn't save her, either."
"Miss Sterling, you were there that day. You know it was just a misunderstanding..."
"What kind of misunderstanding costs several lives?" Aria Sterling shot back. "Mr. Lewis, you should go home and ask your father: if Mr. Gordon Lewis truly considered him a brother, why didn't he contact him after going to Crestfall?"
