Chapter 77 - Ch 77- Arrogance

The next morning, as the sun slowly rose, its gentle rays spread across the sea, reflecting a vast golden shimmer.

After Alvin woke up, he ate breakfast and went to Kuma's bar.

At this moment he was sitting at the bar counter, pouring himself a drink.

Kuma's mouth twitched slightly.

This guy had far too sharp an eye. That bottle was one of the treasured collections in his bar.

But he did not dare say anything.

The bloody scene in the forest last night was still lingering vividly in his mind.

There were only the two of them inside the bar. He had no intention of provoking this killing god and risking being cut down in a single strike.

"Boss Kuma, don't look so miserable early in the morning. Because of me your Revolutionary Army was able to take control of this city so quickly. What's wrong with me drinking one bottle of your wine? Be more generous," Alvin said calmly before draining the wine in his glass.

Kuma forced an awkward and bitter smile.

"No, no. It's only a bottle of wine. As long as Red Hawk Alvin is happy, that's all that matters."

"The Candy Nursery Rhyme Pirates have already been dealt with. Which pirate crew will be passing through here next on their way to the Grand Line?" Alvin asked casually while swirling the ice in his glass.

"There probably won't be any for a while," Kuma replied immediately. "You eliminated two powerful pirate crews from the West Blue here in a row. Now the others are very afraid of you."

"Sigh... and these people still talk about competing for the One Piece? This really won't do..." Alvin sighed.

These pirate crews were simply too disappointing.

How could they retreat after encountering such a small setback?

"Oh right, Boss Kuma. Did you get the things I asked you for?" Alvin suddenly remembered the request he had made a few days earlier.

"I have them. They were delivered last night. Please wait a moment, I'll go get them," Kuma replied before heading into the back room.

After a short while he returned carrying two small boxes and several sea charts.

"Red Hawk Alvin, these are the Log Poses needed to navigate the Grand Line. However the sea charts are incomplete. I could only obtain part of the set," Kuma said while placing the two boxes and the charts on the bar counter.

"Even a partial set is good enough. Thank you very much."

Although Alvin expressed thanks, he made no gesture of gratitude. He simply placed the Log Poses and the sea charts into his spatial storage as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

---

Just as Alvin obtained the Log Poses and sea charts, at Marine Headquarters Marineford, Fleet Admiral Sengoku had just begun his workday.

At that moment Vice Admiral Brannew hurried into the office.

"What is it, Brannew?" Fleet Admiral Sengoku asked with a puzzled expression when he saw Brannew rushing in.

"Sir! Fleet Admiral Sengoku. A major incident occurred in the West Blue yesterday. Colonel Tolson's unit pursued the Candy Nursery Rhyme Pirates to the Silvia Kingdom. There they encountered Red Hawk Alvin. In the end, out of a unit of 102 Marines, only four survived. All the rest were killed by Red Hawk Alvin!" Brannew reported quickly before handing the intelligence report to Fleet Admiral Sengoku.

"What!?"

Fleet Admiral Sengoku was instantly shocked.

Nearly a hundred Marines had been killed. This was a very serious incident.

He immediately took the report and began reading it carefully.

When he saw the detailed description in the report and the brutal and bloody scene captured in one of the photographs, Fleet Admiral Sengoku gritted his teeth and crumpled the report in his hand.

"Bring Vice Admiral Tsuru here," Fleet Admiral Sengoku said in a deep voice while suppressing his anger.

"Yes, sir!" Brannew stiffened slightly before immediately leaving to notify Vice Admiral Tsuru.

Soon Brannew returned with Vice Admiral Tsuru and the two entered Fleet Admiral Sengoku's office together.

"Sengoku, what happened?" she asked immediately.

"Something occurred in the West Blue," Fleet Admiral Sengoku replied with a grim expression before handing the photograph to her.

When Vice Admiral Tsuru saw the fragmented Marine corpses in the photograph, the shock on her face was even greater than Sengoku's moments earlier.

Just as she was about to ask what had happened, Brannew immediately began explaining the situation.

After hearing the report and analyzing the intelligence, Vice Admiral Tsuru, who served as the Marine Chief of Staff, quickly pieced together most of the events.

"It is probably partly because the Silvia Kingdom is not a World Government affiliated nation..." Vice Admiral Tsuru said thoughtfully.

"This is not the time to discuss that," Fleet Admiral Sengoku said firmly. His tone clearly showed that he had already understood the underlying situation.

"To kill so many Marines with such brutal methods, Red Hawk Alvin must pay the price. That man is a devil!"

Vice Admiral Tsuru thought silently for a moment before slowly nodding.

"This old woman understands. Aokiji is currently in the West Blue. Let him go to the Silvia Kingdom."

"Approved," Fleet Admiral Sengoku said as he accepted the suggestion.

Seeing the two senior leaders reach a decision, Brannew immediately picked up a Den Den Mushi and contacted Aokiji, who was currently riding his bicycle across the sea in the West Blue as part of his training.

Silvia Kingdom.

After successfully freeloading lunch at the bar, Alvin was preparing to leave Kuma's establishment.

However at that moment a cold and murderous smile suddenly appeared on his face.

Kuma, standing behind the bar counter, was the first to notice the change in Alvin.

Watching Alvin standing near the door, Kuma felt his body begin to tremble involuntarily.

Why had this lord suddenly begun emitting such terrifying killing intent?

"Who says the World Government is useless? They clearly know what I need and deliver it right to my doorstep," Alvin chuckled softly while slowly walking toward the port.

Only after Alvin left did Kuma feel the immense pressure disappear.

However curiosity soon replaced his fear.

What exactly was Red Hawk Alvin going to do at the port?

---

On the sea approaching the port of the Silvia Kingdom, a pirate ship was sailing steadily forward.

A pirate flag depicting a wolf's head over a skull fluttered from the mast in the wind.

They were the Sea Wolf Pirates.

"Captain Wolf, we are about to reach the Silvia Kingdom!" the helmsman Audebiao shouted.

Wolf, who stood over three meters tall, rose from the soft couch placed in the middle of the deck and stretched his body. His powerful muscles crackled as he moved.

"So we have finally arrived? I wonder if there are still treasures left in this place," Wolf said with a grin while looking toward the island.

Hearing their captain's words, the pirates on deck all revealed greedy and excited expressions.

They had looted many valuable treasures from this kingdom before.

"Prepare to land! Kill Red Hawk Alvin, then seize control of this city!" Wolf ordered immediately.

"Yes, Captain!" Audebiao responded as he turned the rudder, guiding the pirate ship toward the Silvia Kingdom at full speed.

The other pirates picked up their weapons and gathered along the railings, ready for battle.

"Red Hawk Alvin? That 110 million Berries bounty on your head belongs to me!" Wolf declared arrogantly while standing at the bow and staring at the approaching island.

As a veteran pirate with a bounty of 130 million Berries, he firmly believed that Red Hawk Alvin could never defeat him.

His confidence was extremely high.

---

"Hiss..."

"So arrogant. Cutting down such a powerful pirate should feel very satisfying."

On the port shoreline Alvin sat cross legged with his arms folded.

Chronicle rested quietly across his legs.

Sensing its master's killing intent, the Demon Blade instantly released a chilling and sinister aura.
