Before Wolf and his crew could even dock their ship, they spotted Alvin standing in the middle of the port.
There was no one else around him.
Seeing this, Wolf's expression instantly darkened. Was Red Hawk Alvin actually waiting here for him? Did he really think so little of him?

No sooner had Wolf finished speaking than a cannonball blasted out from the pirate ship, tearing through the air with a sharp whistle as it shot straight toward Alvin.
Facing the incoming cannonball, Alvin merely stood up calmly. With a casual swing of the Demon Blade Chronicle, the cannonball was sliced cleanly in half like soft butter.
The two halves flew past Alvin on both sides before crashing into the ground behind him, exploding with a thunderous boom.
The violent explosion produced blazing flames, which at that moment became the perfect backdrop that highlighted Alvin's imposing presence.
On the pirate ship, Wolf stared greedily at the Demon Blade Chronicle in Alvin's hand, practically drooling.

Realizing he had no time to dodge, he immediately covered his lower back with Armament Haki.

Wolf's miserable scream erupted.
Even though he had defended his lower back with Armament Haki, he still could not completely block the slash.
Fortunately his Armament Haki had absorbed most of the force of the blade. Otherwise that single strike would have sliced him clean in half!
