Chapter 76 - Ch 76- Massacre

The name of the West Blue's Ultimate Evil, Red Hawk Alvin, was extremely well known among the Marines stationed in the West Blue.

This was because a year ago Bacchus, the base commander of the 41st Marine Branch in West Blue, had been killed by Red Hawk. Recently, Marine Rear Admiral Viktor had also been defeated and killed by Red Hawk.

These two incidents made the Marines of West Blue tremble whenever they heard the name "Hawk." Everyone feared they might become the next Bacchus or Viktor.

At this moment the Marines present were extremely terrified, because their commander, Colonel Tolson, was even weaker than Bacchus!

"Quick!"

"Kill... kill Red Hawk!"

"Take him down!" Tolson shrieked in terror, his voice distorted by fear.

"Kill!"

"Charge!"

"Take down Red Hawk!"

Hearing Tolson's frantic shouts, the other Marines finally snapped out of their panic. Each of them forced themselves to steady their nerves, raised their rifles, and fired wildly toward Red Hawk.

However the strange scene that followed only deepened the fear in every Marine's heart.

Nearly a hundred Marines fired bullets like a rainstorm, yet not a single bullet even touched Red Hawk's clothing.

Meanwhile Red Hawk advanced calmly toward them as if he were simply strolling through his own backyard.

Alvin slowly lifted his head and looked through the gaps between the dense forest leaves at the full moon hanging high in the night sky.

For some reason, at this moment, the bright and pure moon in his eyes gradually seemed to be stained with a layer of blood-red.

"This is a new technique I comprehended during the past few days. However... it can only be used on a full moon night."

"And tonight just happens to be a full moon."

"You... are truly too lucky."

As his voice fell, Alvin's icy and bone chilling gaze locked directly onto Tolson.

The Demon Blade Chronicle in his hand had quietly turned crimson, as if it could not wait to drink the blood of its enemies.

The moment Tolson met Alvin's gaze, he felt an endless and freezing killing intent invade his mind!

"Ah!"

"Kill!"

"Take him down for me! Take him down for me immediately!" Tolson shouted hysterically while retreating in panic.

At this moment the horrifying image of himself being chopped into pieces by Chronicle in Alvin's hand had already appeared clearly in his mind.

"Blood Moon Drinking Star · Three Thousand Demon Slashes!" Alvin murmured coldly.

In the next instant his figure vanished from the spot.

Then countless sharp crimson slashes erupted among the Marines like an explosion!

The moonlight shining through the forest canopy turned blood red at this moment. Wherever the crimson blade light flashed, the scene became terrifying and eerie.

In the blink of an eye more than a dozen Marine soldiers were sent flying like kites with broken strings, their bodies mercilessly cut into several pieces by the crimson slashes.

Blood splattered everywhere.

Severed limbs flew through the air.

The scene was so gruesome that it was almost impossible to look at.

"Ghost... it's a devil! Red Hawk is a devil!"

"Run!"

"Wuwuwu..."

"Help!"

"Ah!!!"

"I was wrong, please don't kill me..."

"Save me!"

The shrill screams of the Marines echoed through the silent night and spread throughout the entire forest.

At this moment every Marine present had completely collapsed mentally.

Their fear burst out like a broken dam and could no longer be controlled.

In their eyes Alvin looked like a terrifying demon crawling out of the abyss of hell, a monster who had come only to harvest their lives.

Tolson received special attention from Alvin.

His recent wish was fulfilled perfectly as he was chopped into a pile of minced flesh by the sharp crimson blade light.

His death was extremely miserable.

Marine Ensign Roux received the same treatment as Tolson.

Within this forest he was just as important as Colonel Tolson.

After only two or three minutes Alvin finally stopped.

Holding the Demon Blade Chronicle in his hand, with several drops of blood still sliding down its blade, he stood quietly in front of the dozen civilians who had been killed by the Marines.

Looking at the scene before him he radiated an icy killing intent like a frozen iceberg that would never melt.

Among the nearly one hundred Marines present, aside from a few who had been lucky enough to escape from the outer edge of the battlefield, all the others had been permanently left in this forest by Alvin.

Their bodies lay scattered everywhere.

Not a single corpse remained intact.

The entire forest looked like a living hell.

Alvin's gaze fell upon the frail little girl.

In his mind appeared the memory of her a few days ago happily eating fruit desserts.

"Sigh..."

"Perhaps for you this is also a kind of liberation..." Alvin shook his head slightly. He flicked the blood from Chronicle's blade, sheathed the sword, and stored it inside his spatial storage.

He silently carried the bodies of the dozen civilians into the cave.

Inside the cave there was still the Blood Bull Beast meat he had left behind from his previous hunt.

After bringing all the civilian bodies inside, Alvin raised his fist which was covered in Armament Haki and unleashed a full powered punch toward the cave entrance.

A thunderous roar echoed through the forest.

The cave instantly collapsed, and the mountain became a natural tomb for those civilians.

"An excellent feng shui treasure land. You've gained quite a bargain."

"Have a good reincarnation in your next life. Go to that small broken planet. There is a country there where people can eat their fill and dress warmly," Alvin said softly.

At the edge of the forest the members of the Revolutionary Army did not dare approach.

Just moments earlier they had discovered that Red Hawk Alvin's residence in the city was empty.

The sounds of battle that had echoed through the forest were most likely caused by Red Hawk Alvin fighting someone.

At this moment Alvin turned and looked at the Marine corpses scattered across the ground with a completely indifferent gaze.

Everything that happened tonight had destroyed the final trace of mercy he still held toward the Marines.

From this day forward he would kill Marines without the slightest hesitation.

Afterward Alvin slowly walked back toward the city.

The past ten minutes had exhausted him more than several days of intense training during his youth.

He needed to return, take a bath, and sleep well.

---

Only after Alvin had left did the members of the Revolutionary Army finally dare to enter the forest to investigate.

When they saw the ground covered with broken bodies and blood soaked Marine uniforms they were completely stunned.

Every one of them had been Marines.

Judging by the numbers, at least dozens of Marines had been cut into pieces by Red Hawk Alvin.

Blood soaked into the soil.

The thick smell of blood filled the forest so strongly that even those accustomed to life and death felt nauseated.

What exactly happened here?

"Too... too terrifying. Red Hawk... is truly too terrifying..." a trembling voice suddenly spoke.

"Who!"

Several Revolutionary Army members instantly turned their heads.

They saw a Marine captain wearing a Marine uniform slowly walking toward them with a terrified expression.

"Gar? Why are you here?" Kuma immediately recognized him.

He was an intelligence agent that the Revolutionary Army had planted within the Navy.

Several Revolutionary Army members immediately rushed toward him.

"Gar, are you alright?"

"If you are here, then the ones who died here must be Colonel Tolson's Marine unit?"

"Gar, what happened tonight? Why did Red Hawk attack the Marine unit?"

The Revolutionary Army members asked anxiously one after another, eager to know what had just happened.

"It was civilians... the Marines... the Marines killed more than a dozen civilians... and then Red Hawk appeared..." Gar spoke in a dazed voice.

His pupils were dilated as if he still had not recovered from the shock.

"So that is what happened?"

Several Revolutionary Army members exchanged glances, each seeing shock and confusion in the others' eyes.

Because the Marines killed civilians, Red Hawk went on a rampage?

But the Marines killed civilians all the time.

Did Red Hawk know the civilians who were killed?
