About two minutes later, Anna returned carrying a wooden sword.
"Are you still looking at a sword?"
Ryan was distracted because he liked the sword very much, but it was too heavy for him.
Anna noticed Ryan was having difficulty holding a sword, then she spoke:
"Let's duel."
Ryan looked at her.
"Shall we duel, with you?"
Anna looked at him with a slightly annoyed expression.
"I'm your teacher, have you forgotten? And also, you need to use a sword to get used to it."
"Now hold the sword handle with both hands and attack me with all your might, let's see if you have the skill."
Then her expression changed and became frightening.
"And you can use your element to make it fair."
Anna moved away from Ryan.
Ryan placed the scabbard on the ground, gripped the sword's hilt tightly, and fixed his gaze on Anna.
'What a strange position to prepare for combat'
Anna's position was strange; she held the wooden sword in her right hand, gripping it horizontally so that the sword's hilt was close to her right thigh.
'Is this woman joking with me?'
Ryan was angry now because one of the things he hated most was being made fun of.
Anna yawned.
"Aren't you going to attack me? We don't have all day."
A trail of ice sprang from Ryan's legs, cutting swiftly towards Anna and freezing her feet.
Then Ryan ran towards Anna, sword in hand. He wanted to glide on the ice, but he had never done it before, so his chances of success were very slim.
Therefore, he decided on a normal attack, so his speed was normal for any thirteen-year-old boy.
Ryan closed the distance between himself and Anna, then raised his sword and aimed an attack at Anna's chest.
Lifting the sword was difficult because of its weight, but he eventually managed to launch an attack, though it was useless.
Anna easily blocked the attack with her wooden sword.
'Damn it, but she can't move. All I have to do is retreat and attack again.'
Ryan looked at Anna's feet.
"When?"
Then a kick to his stomach sent him flying
Ryan collapsed feet away from Anna, clutching his stomach and unable to breathe.
'Damn it, why did you kick her so hard?'
Ryan crawled over, grabbed his sword which was nearby, and stood up by leaning on it.
He looked at Anna, who was looking at her nails.
"Is that all you've got? I thought you were a lion when I saw you kill that kidnapper, but it seems you're still just a kitten."
Ryan bit his lip, endured the pain in his stomach, raised his sword, and attacked Anna again.
"Stupid boy"
Ryan launched another attack at Anna, but she easily blocked it again.
But this time, she didn't send him flying; she simply struck his left leg, causing him to fall to the ground and lie there.
Ryan's pictures on his teeth
"Damn it"
He grabbed Anna's foot and ice began to form and freeze it.
But moments later, the ice began to crumble.
"This."
It was like the thing he does to make his ice disappear.
Anna looked at Ryan, who was lying on the ground, then grabbed his shirt and lifted it to face level so she could see his face.
"If you go to the academy like that, the dogs there will eat you alive."
Ryan's gaze was filled with anger; this was the first time he had ever been humiliated in his life.
Anna raised her fist to throw a punch at Ryan.
Ryan closed his eyes, waiting to be hit, but felt nothing even after seconds had passed.
He opened his eyes and she tapped his forehead with her finger.
Then she let him fall on his backside
Ryan fell onto his cold bottom, wincing in pain.
"Damn, that hurts."
Anna smiled.
"Let's meet tomorrow at the same time. Bring The sword with you too."
"Now I'm going."
And so Anna left him on the ground and went away.
Ryan watched her leave, his eyes wide.
"Am I going to get beaten up again tomorrow?"
But he wasn't beaten that day only
