Chapter 58 - Avada Kedavra

"Does this really matter?" Silas asked with a tired voice.

Alice frowned and angrily turned to him.

"Of course! What is this?" She said and pointed towards the sorting Silas had done.

Silas followed her finger and looked at the two piles of pants.

Sigh. I can't see it!?

"What's wrong with it?" He asked. Genuinely not understanding her meaning.

Alice clenched her jaw.

"How have you sorted this?" She stepped up to one of the pant piles and pulled out two jeans.

One pair were blue and the other ones grey.

Silas looked at her with a blank stare.

"They're both jeans…"

Alice put them down and looked at him.

"But they're different colors!"

She turned to look at all the jeans and shirts and then lowered her head, when she raised it again she looked at Silas and said.

"I'm going to sort all these clothes again."

Silas was baffled. No way, buddy, it can't be that bad!?

"I'm not sure that's necessary…" Silas trailed off.

Alice then turned to look at him unamused.

"It is."

Time passed and after a few hours Alice was done with the sorting.

Looking at the piles that were the same as before, just more. Silas sighed.

As long as she's happy.

"Is that enough? Are you happy?" Silas asked.

Alice smiled and nodded.

"Yeah… this is much better." She then turned to look at Silas and bared her teeth.

"Don't mess these piles up… remember to sort it like this in the future, okay?"

Silas nodded.

"Will do."

"But… can we watch a movie now?"

Alice stepped forward and hugged him.

"Sure…"

Silas smiled and narrowed his eyes mischievously.

He then grabbed her and lifted her up in a princess carry.

Alice let out a yelp of surprise.

Then she realized what was happening and looked at Silas with a look mixed with shyness and anger.

She reached out and pinched his side.

But it was so soft that Silas barely felt it, but he played along like it hurt.

"Ouch!~"

Alice turned her head.

Hmph~

Seeing her adorable act Silas leaned forward and kissed her cheek.

"Come on let's watch a movie, I'm tired of all this sorting clothes."

Alice looked at him and leaned in for a kiss.

"You didn't even do any sorting…" She said after the kiss.

Silas shook his head.

"True… but I watched you and it made me tired."

Hearing this absurdity, Alice laughed.

Silas carried Alice out to the sofa in the room and put her down.

"Put on a movie and I will get snacks."

Silas turned and walked out.

When he reached the kitchen he grabbed a bowl and poured in some chips.

And then he grabbed himself a soda before he walked back towards his room

When he entered he heard a low soundtrack.

He arrived at the sofa and placed the chips and soda on the table.

"What are we gonna watch?" Silas turned to Alice and asked.

She smiled and played mysterious.

"Guess… the first clue is magic."

Silas raised an eyebrow and looked at the intro playing.

"Is it Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone?"

Alice pounced on him.

"How did you know?"

Silas laughed.

"I guessed."

Alice got off him and pouted.

"Have you seen it?" She asked.

Silas shook his head. Well… he had, but it was a long time ago.

"No, have you?"

Alice heard this and a happy smile spread on her lips.

"No."

Then she turned to look at Silas.

"Then we can watch it together."

Silas leaned in and kissed her.

"Of course."

Silas reached for the chips bowl and put it in his lap. Alice looked at the chips then at Silas.

"Do they taste good?" She asked.

Silas nodded.

"Yeah, decent."

Alice picked up one and looked at it. Then she smiled and made a weird sound and moved the chip through the air towards Silas's mouth.

"Here comes the airplane."

Hearing what she said Silas let out a chuckle and opened his mouth.

Alice "flew" the chip into his mouth.

"Mayday, mayday… hahaha."

Silas smiled as he chewed the chip.

As the movie went on and we reached boring parts Alice would distract herself by making airplanes.

Alice got more and more absorbed into the magical world of Harry Potter.

"Tsk. I know who the bad guy is." She said proudly.

Silas raised an eyebrow.

"Really?"

Alice nodded.

"It's Snape, look at that attitude, the gloom and all sass." She said with certainty.

Silas nodded along.

"You're probably right."

Hehe, she's so wrong

The movie went on and Alice pointed and said.

"See? See? He's trying to kill that Harry, look he's cursing his broom."

Silas just nodded along.

"Yeah, you really called it."

Alice was proud.

"How can that old Dumbledore let such a liability into the castle? Wasn't this supposed to be the safest place in Britain?"

"Wasn't he the strongest wizard of the century?"

Alice went on and on.

Silas played along.

"Yeah… just a fraud, he's getting old and senile."

Alice chuckled.

"You sound like the Slytherin purebloods."

Silas laughed.

"Haha, I'm a dark wizard. Avada Kedavra." Silas said and made a waving motion towards Alice.

She made some exaggerated movements.

"No! Don't kill me! Ahhh~."

"Hahah…" Neither Alice nor Silas could hold in their laughter.

They kept watching the movie until the end fight.

"NO! How could my calculations be wrong?" Alice said.

"How could it be that Quirrell? It was supposed to be Snape…"

Hearing her exclamations Silas laughed.

"Haha. Maybe you aren't as good at this as you said."

Alice looked over and shoved a chip in his mouth.

"Be quiet if you don't have anything good to say."

Silas chewed the chip and tried to hold in a laugh at Alice's ramblings.

It seems she doesn't like Snape… wonder if that will change when she sees his death scene?

Probably. Hehe.

The movie kept playing and Alice was on the edge of her seat.

"Wow! What is that magic, it made Quirrell dissolve into dust." She said looking at Harry putting his hands all over Quirrells face.

"But why did he have to destroy the stone?" Alice mumbled in dissatisfaction.

Just then the scene of Voldemort flying through Harry came up.

"No! Dodge!" Alice said as the phantom flew through Harry and put him in a coma.

Seeing that all the cast was out of danger Alice leaned back and sighed.

"That was a good movie… except that I was wrong about the villain… and that they destroyed the Philosopher's Stone."

Silas nodded along.

"It was good. Let's watch the next one this weekend. What do you say?"

Alice smiled.

"Yeah. Hopefully it's as good as this one."

Silas leaned back and yawned, then he looked at the time on his phone.

"It's late."

Alice turned to look at him.

"I should drive you home." Silas said and stood up.

Alice looked dissatisfied but didn't say anything.

...

Enjoy. Mwah~
