Lenette sat on the bed with her legs crossed staring at the business card that man, Jacob Sterling, gave her. Lenette was pondering what to do. Thinking back to their conversation.
"Lenette." She heard him call out to her and made no move to respond or to do anything. "It is you, isn't it?" he persisted.
Finally schooling her reaction, Lenette turned to face the man. "Excuse me, I think you have the wrong person." She feigned.
"No, I am pretty sure that it is you. I would never forget that pretty face." He sounded adamant as he walked closer to her.
Lenette took a step back and repeated her denial, "Sir, I think you have really got the wrong person. I am Amelia Watson. You must have me mistaken with someone else." She said making to leave.
"Amelia, huh? Is that your new identity now? I guess a lot must have happened to you after your father's death that you even forgotten who you are."
