"What!?" exclaims broke through the meeting room.
"Why would we do such a thing? Does it not go against the rules?" Sterling asked.
"That is a curious thing to suggest. What are your intentions?" Morris too asked.
Intentions? Caesar thought about it. His intentions were pretty simple, a clean sweep win with a unanimous vote. And of course, to villainise the two of them. There were three temporary members and only two of them were currently present and privy to their whole conversation, with the exception of the one only he knew about. Meaning they could hear the protests against their active participation; all Caesar needed to do was steer the conversation in a direction that would make him seem like an advocate for their advancement. And because the world worked the way it does, they too would be aware of what they needed to do to settle that debt.
