IF ANY OF YOU HAS DRANK THEIR MOTHER'S MILK IN INFANCY THEN COME AND TRY TO KILL THIS SON OF BHARAT AND SAVE YOUR HOME".
By this rest of men surrendered the city and the Kaling capital was under Rashtrakut rule and the flag of Purbh ganga dynasty, circle on cresent moon with yellow and red background was removed and with Rashtrakut flag with mythical eagle with blue background was mounted.
No civillian was killed but all city watch, loyal minister and queens/concubines of Gajapati were imprisoned.
We were treated by royal physicians and we were all celebrating as this was our first victory everyone drinking except for me and ser Adivarah and cheering ser Adivarah. He became hero of the war for us.
Although I noticed that he became my first mate in name of glory but he was giving me knowledge on how wars are cruel and there is nothing glory in it, but I decided to let them enjoy for this night.

As the royal preist was imprisoned and even if he would been released, he was not going to crown the bastard son of former Gajapati and usurper. Therefore, he was crowned by Atharv Jadhav as a feudal king under Rashtrakut Empire and by putting Kaling's crown on his head, he was declared, "Kalingadhipati, Gajapati Jagan Samarthy the second, son of Jagannath Samarthy of Purbh Ganga dynasty is now declared overlord of Kaling under Rashtrakut Empire do you swear fealty to the emperor"?
"I do", he replies happily.
This was my first war and thus I was victorious in it.
