It's already been 2 days since our arrival on Ratanpur and most time was going in the preparation.
Ratanpur was a big town not as big as cities like Vatapi, Manyakhet, Paralakhemundi, and Kalinganagar.
Raghuvir, Krishnaraj, Venkatesh, all of them were preparing though I have not seen ser Adivarah from some days but Raghuvir said that he is also preparing.
I was still confused why King Vallek said that I remind him of someone. It was the first time us meeting and there was someone as stupid as me.
Prince Mahendr and myself discussed about our enforcements. We both smoked, talked, and that's how we became friends.
In spare time I decided to see the town, I like to see every city I go first time. I always observe the life style of Al Hind.
Whenever I talk to someone here about them, there culture, there lifestyle, and history. People here though divided into kingdoms, are united by a collective identity, they think that there is no other country like theirs, no other race like theirs, no other kings like theirs, no other religions like theirs, and no other science like.
Sanskrit language of Al Hind is a very advanced language. It is almost used in every work weather it is science, court, religious organisation, and education. I decided to learn the language for exactly this reason and also for reading the original scriptures. Veds and upnishads of Hindu religion are thought to everyone here and I have also read them to understand about hindu people.
People here are following a caste system they call 'Varn' or 'Jati'. There are four kinds highest are Brahmans who are teachers, doctors and religious guides. After them are Kshatriys who are nobles and ruling class. Vaishys are mostly consisting of common working class of society. Shudrs are lowest and servant class of society. Other than main four I have observed eight more classes of social segregation. This system is rigid and is not native to Al Hind as Arab of old times also had it.
Buddhism originated from Al Hind it is well known in Khwarazm, it teaches meditation and inner peace for salvation. Same happens in Hinduism too but they also has idol worshiping, fasting, many festivals, and religious places to go, there is also a sati practice where widows burn themselves with there husbands, though many wives of the kings can decide to burn one or two of them. Hindus have many forms of one gods.
Hindus are very advance in advance in astrology, mathematics, science, and astronomy just like the greeks. In ancient times a man named Aryabhatt invented a number 0 and concept of negative number. Two centuries ago Brahmagupt a astrolonomer created many concepts in the field. Al khwarizmi who died three decades ago wrote his polymath knowledge from Al Hind.
There is also religion of Jain monks but I don't know much about it.
Overall the culture of Al Hind is very respectfull and it can be one of the greatest in the world but I don't like many things like caste system and sati practice.
This were my view on Al Hind now the place where I live.
